Don't use a magic eraser on painted surfaces on a vehicle.

Why? I use lots of water and it removes all the bugs off the front of my fiver and leaves no marks or scratches. Been using it for 2 years now.

Those magic erasers are quite abrasive. They can damage the clear coat of auto paint.

X2. I've seen that result on other surfaces, as well.

About three months ago...
Well it has been three month ago, We still have not found any mouse dirt, but I just replaced two packets. I am sold.
Our friends that recommended this said it should last three months, it did. It's called mouse magic, I got ours at tractor supply, but they sell it in a ton of places.
Everyone who ask me to keep you up to date, this is it. We are not going to push our luck, we are very happy with it.
Enjoy the weekend!

Installed the Haloview RD5 MINI to use as an observation camera. I'll do a review after we've used it a few times.

New Slid Seals
Our CC 36 CKTS found a tree limb and need some work done, we where able to take it to Brooks Collision in Piney Flats, TN. Found out that Mike Brooks does most all the work on RV's for the South East. Anyway, after getting it home i started replacing all the seals around the slid outs. Not hard to do and I ordered the seals on line, they are heaver and bigger than the ORG seals. I also found a tape that is great for emergency repairs to roof or under belly. Its call ZIP ROOFING TAPE and cost around $27.00 for a 90 foot roll 4 inches wide. It is use on new house roofs and around windows and will stick to anything wet or dry. The only color I have been able to find is black but when your roof has a hole in it who cares what color as long as it does not leak.

Too much!
Installed a hardwired Surge Guard, rear and side cameras, LeverPro+ Level sensor, sanitized my fresh tank and repaired a problem with my fresh tank not filling.
Now I’m enjoying a cocktail!

(cross posted from my solar thread)
I got more work done last night on my solar project. Dicor is now on both panels at the mounts.
and I wired the panels to the controller.
I still need to weld up some battery mounts for the additional two 6 V GC2 batteries, run them in series-parallel with the other two, then run wires from the controller to the battery bank. I also have to run wires and mount the MT50 remote, the grounding cable, and the temperature sensor, and I'll be done.

Well I'm like gravelrider working on the solar install. I'm just waiting on a few odds and ends to come in to start. In the mean time did the DIY sewer hose mod with PVC fence post cover sleeve. Now to install another roof vent cover cover lol

Keep in mind, this flashing tape is NOT intended to be left exposed so 'emergency/temporary' repairs only!
It has only a 180 day UV breakdown timetable.
In roofing use, it gets covered by another material. (ie shingles, metal)
In the R/V world it will be useless in 6 months.

Got the Micro-Air EasyStart installed today. Trained up and done. Runs beautifully off my Honda eu200i. I know, I know... Easy to say with 70 degree weather at sea level...
Next is the propane conversion for the Honda...

yes , 81 is fine but a warning about SC becareful , SC is a hot spot down there, also becareful going through NC. Make sure you have and wear your mask, but also enjoy yourself. It’s tough in different States. We are not all on the level of N.Y. also once past Nothern Virginia it gets better in our state but please becareful for your sake and others....

Well we got a surprise today. I ordered struts to put on the storage lid under our bed because I was tired of holding it up and trying to get what I needed. Pulled the mattress topper and mattress, DH raised the lid and it stayed up. Guess I haven't been pushing it up high enough. He looks at me like I have 2 heads and says it already has them. He pushed on the lid and says it holds pretty good. Can't return because I got them on Amazon and it's past the return time. So instead of installing those hubby removed the hinge on the left of the compartment below the linen closet in the bathroom, added a magnetic catch and a knob. Now it just looks like the rest of the cabinet doors. We (DH) needs to fill the holes where the screws to the hinge were. Meanwhile I reattached the light over my side of the bed. Put up 2 3M broom holders(1 for the broom, 1 for the mop)by the door after moving the key holder. Took the little "As for me and my house" sign down to reapply velcro and move. I didn't like the long narrow opening below the TV, above the pantry doors that had that wifi switch in the middle. It looked crappy. Found the hollow back sign, attached velcro to the 4 corners and no more switch! The first time I put it up I didn't center it too good. Looks fine now.
