Replaced Handle but QUESTION
DH replaced the screen door handle. The wind caught the door when I was closing it and the plastic handle on the screen cracked. Good as new now.
We always leave water in the toilet bowl but this time out the water will not stay in the toilet bowl. Anyone else had this problem?

If you have a Dometic toilet, there is a seal at the opening in the bottom of the bowl that probably needs to be replaced.

Bug guards
I installed bug guards (screen) on my refrigerator ventilation access panel. Trying to keep the stink bugs out of my rig.

I had to replace mine on my fifth wheel the year after we bought it but that’s unusual. There was a foreign object caught in it that deformed it. I have no idea where it came from. The seal should last for many years.

They'll get in everywhere and then stick around for years. It's been a year and a half since we've been to a "stink bug" area & we're still finding them. One will just show up out of the blue.

Cleaned the refrigerator with a vinegar solution. Some odd black & yellow crap in there.
Opened up all the shrink bags of linens and letting the pillows fluff up. Next, making up beds, the major PITA.

Screen Door Slider Panel
while replacing my broken screen door handle lever, I decide to give the slider panel another try, ... when I ordered it, I assumed it was generic in size and would fit any RV screen door, NOT, .... so it has been on the shelf for several years, because it didn't fit, ... but I wanted to take another look and, yep it still didn't fit, ... after several cuts, some filing and shaving down to size, it finally does fit and with the help of Gorilla Tape to hold it in the frame, I now have it installed and am happy with the results, ... we have two doors, but before I install another one, we'll use this one for a while to see if we really do like it better than sliding the original slide panel every time we open the screen door, ... I think we will, ...

I set up for online payments on the trailer loan and made the first payment, put together the ball-chain "leash" for the holding tank drain hose, mounted the LED switch light by the door, and looked at a few other things we might want to do for the trailer.

I just disassembled the wheels, inspected the brakes, re-greased the bearings with Lucas Heavy Duty Grease.
I checked the tire pressure on all 4 tires, adjusted them all to 90 PSI.
All this in preparation for the first camping trip of the season; a long weekend trip to Mobile to watch our Ragin Cajun baseball team play the University of S Alabama Jaguars.
Geaux Cajuns!!

I had to do the exact same thing. Cut it down to fit in the screen frame. Sorta lame, but it works.
Crappy pic too. Haha.

Discovered that a flap-door over the sink “exploded” sometime over the winter. That was actually my wife’s description when she saw it.
Squeezed in some glue ,clamped it up and good as new.
One down.....

Going on 3 years of making our RV bed I reached my limit. Somewhere in the forum this was discussed and I learned about Beddy's. The price threw me so I put that on the back burner. Well first trip out I ended up messing up the front of my leg trying to pull bedding all the way up. Soon as I got home I ordered my Beddy's. If you don't make your bed everyday or have no problem sleeping in an unmade bed then it may not be worth the investment for you. I hate looking at an unmade bed but I really hate sleeping in one that is not freshly made.

We're certainly not bothered by unmade beds at home but making the Murphy bed is somewhat of a challenge. We forked out the cash for Beddy's and will learn their true value on a long trip this summer.
One thing I don't like is that the sides are baggy because they make them real deep so one size fits all. I'm going to get some bed suspenders and attach them on the underside to tighten it up.
