Did the unwinterizing, wheel bearings, mounted an old phone for the bluetooth battery monitor, mounted an old tablet for bluetooth music broadcast, added usb sockets to power both and put the television in (kind of proud we went without it for 3 years). Sold the ten year old hondas and bought 2 new eu2200i's (stimulated the economy).
Headed to Atlanta Dragway for the last NHRA event at that track next week.

Wondering if that tv is going to stay put on that long, folding, pivoting arm without locking it down somehow?

I selected this mount because the joints are easily disassembled. I plan on laying the tv on the bed while traveling ( this has been our practice but I had not ever mounted the tv in previous campers.

Why not add straps to secure it back against the wall for travel? That way you won't have to connect/disconnect all the electrical hookups each time.

This is what I did for mine. I have a similar mount, and I added a couple of curtain hooks to each side of my cabinet, then got a flat strap adjustable bungee cord. It works great to keep the TV tight against the cabinet while traveling. Several years and no issues.

There was a hole already there up front, it was not to bad to get with both recliners open.

Uncovered, cleaned the roof, gutters, checked the sealant, flushed the water system, filled tanks with water/tank cleaner, washed entire exterior, cleaned awning and windows. Vacuumed and cleaned everything ahead of our first trip of the season this Friday. Restocking things the rest of the week and making sure all the little odds and ends are in order.

No modifications at all planned this year. We like to keep it simple plus we have a new pup that this will be her first outing in the camper (after losing our 16 year old companion at the end of last season) so we're focusing on training her.

took a badly torn 41 foot cover off the toy hauler. submitted a claim for damages to Carcover (lifetime warranty regardless of cause of damage) and had a new one in 4 days on my doorstep.
wife cleaned the inside and I flushed the water system / reset the HW tank. stayed in it last weekend. went down to 36 degrees overnight. one other couple in the park so it was very quiet.

One of my sky lights developed a small crack and started letting water in. I had the camper covered which kept it dry until I removed the cover a few days ago right before it rained. The sky light was fine before I covered it. I wonder of the weight of this winter's snow did it in. Anyways, I go t up on the roof and did a temporary repair with some gorilla tape and dicor sealant until I can replace it.

Don't forget that may vents have replaceable top pieces. I had one this spring, took twenty minutes. Nine to get up on the roof, one minute to change it, and ten for a beer.

Cleaned and repacked the shower drain assembly with plumbers putty. Started to leak a bit in the basement.

Re-stuffed dinette seats with new foam. Original foam was worn and thin.

I installed a digital controller for my fridge. We got tired of the temp constantly fluctuating all the time and freezing our drinks and food at night. simply run the probe into the fridge, plug the fridge into the cooling socket, and plug into where the fridge was originally plugged in. this only works on 120v which is all we use when camping. you set your desired temp and a cooling differential and if you want a compressor lock out to prevent short cycling. if you lose power or unplug it, it retains all of your settings. and its a steal for under $40. just plug into power and set the fridge dial to as cold as it goes. the controller just turns the fridge on and off as it sees fit.

no more exploded drinks for me!

Just finished installing two 6V deep cycle golf cart batteries with a battery monitoring system in the TT. Also completely re-installed waterpump, accumulator and water filter in pass through. Installed digital thermostat, de-winterized and checked wheel bearings.

300 watt solar with 215 amphours (approx. 100 available) will give me days of cold camping. Just need to sanitize and off we go.

Now all I need is for the government to say I can leave my house.

Cleaned it out

Cleaned it out, replaced water pump and replaced left rear stab jack and sold the unit. Replacing with a Grand Design Reflection 150 295RL. The floor plan is similar to many others, the closer for me was the fact these are shipped with Goodyear Endurance tires, from the factory. I will also add that I never had an issue with the tires on the Coachmen Freedom Express 246 RKS. I kept them covered, didn't exceed speed rating and always made sure inflation was at correct pressure.

Called Lippert to ask how to manually open and close the slides and raise and lower the landing gear in case of primary failure. No problem just wanted to be prepared. They sent me 2 pdf. documents. Nice folks

My brother retired in St. Augustine after 30 years in the Coast Guard. For food try O’steen’s (best fried shrimp ever), Harry’s (downtown) and Sunset Grille in St. Augustine Beach. We love them all!

And don't forget Seafood Kitchen. One of our favorites and we eat there about once a month.

Dewinterized to get ready for the season and had a water pump problem that was really weird and difficult to diagnose. I'm still not 100% sure of what it was, but I think it was a couple different problems combined.

At first, my water pump worked fine, but after a while it seemed like it would loose prime and work, but with low volume. No leaks I could find, and it was intermittent that the problem would even happen. I put in my spare pump and at first it worked great, but later that day it had the same problem.

I decided the only thing it could be was a suction line problem, but it also wouldn't suck from the antifreeze connection with the valve switched over so I temporarily eliminated the antifreeze line from the system.

Anyway, the suction line was the braided flexible hose and a couple spots where it passed through clamps it was at least partially collapsed. I think under suction, it was collapsing even more so I replaces the tubing from the pump down to the fresh tank with hard PEX line. Also found in testing that when hooked to my air compressor, the plastic 3-way antifreeze valve was leaking air to the fresh tank side when in antifreeze position which explains why it would draw well from the antifreeze connection either.

Now the water in the sinks and shower pumps with more volume than it ever has, even when brand new. I ordered a new 3-way valve, but I'll likely not even install it until I need it in the fall. I'm thinking the tank tubing was partially squished in the clamps right from the factory reducing volume at least some.

Ray
