The pin box I replaced was a Lippert 1621 and it was so much lighter than the MorRyde, I had no problems lifting it and carrying it off myself. The MorRyde is definitely a heavier duty pin box than what came stock on my Sabre. I couldn't believe the difference in the quality.
Also, you won't need any special tools, outside of a torque wrench capable of the torque specs for the MorRyde that fits your RV and some large sized, deep ratcheted sockets. Used the handle end of a socket driver to help with lining up the bolt holes to get the first two bolts installed.

I watched the video before installing mine, but since I had 3 people (2 to lift & 1 to put line up bar in) it was just as easy to lift it into position.
By the time you lift it into the bed of the truck, you are most of the way into the bracket that holds the pin box. Plus once you get it into the bed, then you have to get into the bed & lift it again to put it into the hitch, and you need to be dead on when backing up to line it up with the bracket.
So for me it was easier just to lift it into position in 1 fell swoop. YMMV

I "almost" swapped out the Castle Rock tires for a new set of Carlisle today, but only 3 came in to the tire shop, so it will probably be Monday before I can do it. I did lubricate the slide gears and rubber seals though.

Replaced my door handle assembly. Found out it was broken at 130 am when the dog wanted out. Thankfully I have a class C and could get out the cab door to get at the tools that were in an outside compartment.

I installed the EasyTouch Digital RV Thermostat. Easy install. I'm very impressed with this thermostat. It's easy to use, hooks up to WiFi and Bluetooth. There is a phone app so you can control it from anywhere as long as it's hooked to WiFi. I had to put the backplate on the wall as the old thermostat hole was larger than the EasyTouch.

Bought 2 VIZIO TVs. One is 24 in and the other 32, the smaller one goes inside the slideout room that is small, the 32 in for the master bedroom. Both have all the streaming video goodies. Not bad for $116 on the 24 and $160 for the 32.

The stabilizers on the Prism were getting a bit stiff to raise/lower so I cleaned them off and hit all the pivot points and threads with PB Blaster. Big improvement!

Added reflective barrier insulation to my windows and added the insulator "pillow" to my skylight and vent.
One thing I wasn't sure about is whether I need anything else on the barrier like a cardboard backer (something less radiant than the barrier). I can see the barrier reflecting light/heat, but there is a bit of heat that gets absorbed by the barrier and radiates into the trailer. Some sort of backer seems like it would reduce the amount of radiant heat coming from the barrier.

As a noob to owning a truck camper....
We just purchased our first truck camper the other day - a 2018 Palomino 1251 pop-up. Today we spent the day going over the camper in minute detail only to discover that there is no grey tank. Sales person had made references to a grey tank during our initial inspection phase but he didn't come right out and say "there is a grey tank in this unit". That being said, I don't think that would have been a deal-breaker if he had. The unit is in very good shape and we paid a fair price for it.
Hubby retires at the end of this month and we finally have everything in place to take advantage of the less crowded week-day spots! Once we have things all figured out, we plan on ditching the crowded campsites and spend time boon-docking. We had to give up tent camping a few years ago when sleeping on the ground became too difficult for me. Old ladies and their tiny bladders....sigh....

'Mounted' my 40" TV to the back of my dinette. Sat the TV on the back of the dinette and used some aluminum to keep the TV from tipping. I didn't want to hang the TV on the wall, and of course, it's too big to mount in the designated TV backer location. Only one screw hole would be visible if I removed the mount, and it would be on the underside of the cabinet (and only 1/4" big).
This TV is my computer monitor as well as TV. It's a great view from the dinette as well as from laying in the bed.
The TV nor the brackets interfere with sitting at the dinette - this is the best upgrade for this little camper.
I didn't get a clean after picture, so don't mind the mess. Since taking the after picture, I also cut a 1" hole on the bottom of the cabinet right at the corner of the wall, inserted a grommet, and pulled all my wiring through there so now the wiring is neatly tucked in the corner.
Before:
After:
You can't see both lower brackets, but I did put two on the bottom.
This is a representative "before" picture from the bed. I'll maybe add a new, cleaner "after" picture when I can. As you can tell I'm really proud of this! haha

Welcome to the forum. Sadly your truck camper does not appear to have a gray tank at all. The fresh water tank is 15 gal and the black tank is 7 gal. Neither very big for boondocking unless you have some method of replenishing/dumping them. Here is a link to some specs - https://palominorv.com/truck-campers...r/SS-1251/2607
It appears that the shower may dump into the black tank, but wonder where does the sink in front is dumping to?
Good luck and enjoy -

Thanks for the info! I had looked at those specs previously but totally missed the 00.0 gallon grey tank bit...sheesh. So the shower is piped into what would be the grey tank discharge pipe if there were one ( Odd that there is a grey tank pipe and outlet but no tank and apparently no space to accommodate one). The sink is plumbed directly into the fresh water drain. We are going to have to make sure we bring an empty bucket along with us because I know that not everywhere allows grey water to be dumped on the ground. Boondocking is going to have to be of short duration for now, at least until we can get a decent treatment system together that meets budget, weight, and space needs. But we are able to bring extra water with us that will allow us to extend our time out.
