Finished and tested my 40amp DC to DC converter functionality.
I have installed 100ah Lifepo4 battery in the trailer.
Picture of meter shows 4.69a when truck hooked up and running, but DC to DC is off.
With DC to DC on, meter shows 40.8a

Ordered 3 new Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 for the Pup via Amazon. Want to get them before prices jump more & increased shipping costs. IIRC, these tires have already increased almost $20 each from a year ago.
Just booked two camping dates including Memorial Day!

Just replaced my China Bombs with Carlisle Radial Trails. Removed the cannister water filter in favor of an in line hose water filter (one less possible thing to leak. Plus it was a b*tch to access.). Ordered a surge protector since I had to replace the blown board in my water heater...Live and learn....

What make/model water heater do you have?

Traditional R/V water heaters do not utilize anything on the control board for 120v operation so a surge protector would have done you nothing.

There were a bad batch of 12v water heater control boards for a couple years and there are previous posts about looking for a burned spot. I believe some were being replaced for folks.

Live and learn, always a good thing.Click image for larger version

I surge protector is something I should have either way. As for as the water heater, it wasn't relighting when using gas...

Replaced the worthless oem bathroom vent fan with a Heng's vortex fan that I installed with a variable speed controller. Moves more air and is quieter.

As much as I believe in surge protectors, it probably wasn't the issue on your W/Heater. They have a significant rate of failure all by themselves. If you haven't already replaced the board, get a Dinosaur board from Amazon for around $85. They are far superior to OEM boards.

WH has already been repaired. But I will bookmark the Dinosaur board in case it ever happens again. Appreciate the tip!

Swapped out the cheap Jensen 32" TV for a 42" 4k smart TV. It fills the cabinet much better and the picture and sound quality is great.

Cleaned the gutters, (live oak leaves packed!) washed the roof and awnings and then moved to a new campground.Click image for larger version

Put 2 more 200W panels on. 1200W for 400Ah of LiFePO4 should be about right. Runs my 15k BTU A/C, fridge and some lights just fine.

Replaced both batteries today. Old ones were original and 5yrs old. Checked tire pressures all around and changed batteries on all 4 TPMS sensors. Filled up one of the 2 propane tanks. Getting everything ready for our month-long trip starting next week.

That Micro-Air Thermostat in your pic is one of the best MODs I've done.

It's not what I did but what a big German Shepherd did to my RV wiring harness, the battery cables and the RV emergency brake module.
