Yes, it's Corian, with a couple of pieces of 1/2" plywood bonded on the underside as a base to screw the hinges to. It's heavy.

What year is yours?

I display our flags from the rear bumper using spare tire carriers with U-bolts to secure the flagpoles to the carriers.

During the first year of ownership of my current camper, I had the left flagpole mounted just to the right of my spare tire. One day I was looking out my rear window (which is an emergency exit) and realized that in an emergency, we wouldn't be able to fully open the window to escape. I then moved the left flagpole to the left of the spare tire. Just a reminder not to block your emergency exits.

2016. It matches the rest of the countertop, which isn't corian, naturally.

You just need to go to home Depot and find stronger hinges, I think.....

It's noteworthy that this particular fiver has a 6-4 ceiling in the bedroom (I'm 6-3) so is naturally tall. Also, it sat way to low from the factory. The tires cleared the floor above them by 1-3/4 inches while Dexter specs call for 3 inches for the torsion bar axles that came on the rig. It was almost unusable with a 3/4 ton truck! So I did an immediate 3 inch lift but that only gave me 5 inch bed rail clearance and that was with a significant nose high stance. I did damage a bed rail once! I now have 7" clearance and could have more since the fiver tail is nearly an inch higher than the front (I got about a half inch more lift than I was planning on).

Notice that the wheels don't match the wheel arches. I could have used 15" wheels when I switched from 5 bolt to 6 bolt to accommodate the new axles, but etrailer sent me 16" wheels by mistake. Rather than return them I bought new 16" tires. The larger wheels/tires required the axles to be spread apart an extra couple of inches hence the mismatch.

That was my wonder with the ac units but you have none? Did you install a split system or something?

We don't camp in the warmer months unless we are going to a high altitude or the coast where it will be cooler. Though last year I did purchase a 9K mini split system for the fiver; just haven't gotten around to installing it. When I do we might camp more in the summer.

Now that looks like some quality craftsmanship. My complements to the upholsterer. The pattern is a bit "intense" but that appears to be on purpose. Happy camping.

Had it washed and waxed last week. Today I cleaned the 2 awnings. It’s a much harder job on the fifth wheel compared to the previous TT we had. The main awning is so high off the ground the entire process has to be done on a ladder. Not fun when you have a bad back.

This time I used “S100 Total Cycle Cleaner” that I’ve used on my motorcycle. I spray it on and scrub lightly with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. There are a few stubborn stains that it didn’t remove though. I’ve used “Hertel Plus” cleaner in the past but couldn’t find any locally.

I think the awning manual suggests using a mixture of bleach, Dawn and water.

The best awning cleaner I've found is "Wet N' Forget". We literally just spray it on (top and bottom) once a year. After five years the under side (white) looks almost new. I have not scrubbed our awning in years! It's like every time it gets wet it rejuvenates itself.

Many years ago I needed to paint a few rooms in my former home so I went to Home Depot and purchased a Werner portable scaffold. (Less than $100 in 2007.) It has come in handy several times since then. Between that and the two 40" aluminum work platforms I've purchased over the years I can easily get most small jobs accomplished without needing to climb a ladder.

Have used "Wet N' Forget" twice and its not quite that simple. You do have to at least use a scrubber on a long pole to rub against the fabric to clean it. And you have to hose it off.
Not saying it's not as easy as you say for you but it hasn't been for me.

yep, i also use Wet and Forget. it keeps the mold off for sure - the dirt no.... but i don't need to clean the awning very often - this spring was the first time in several years as i seemed to have not hosed the awning off last fall when i put the camper away. but it cleaned up easily and i decided to reapply the Wet and Forget (first time since i initially applied it about 3 years ago??) - i also sprayed it on the north facing side of the house as i was getting green stuff on the yellow siding - the green has disappeared.....

I followed what was described as Dometic's recommendation this year... 1 gallon of water mixed with 1 tablespoon each of bleach and Dawn dish soap. Using a pump sprayer and a car wash brush. Allowing the liquid a few minutes to soak. It removed some stains that had been there for a few years and had not been removed by other cleaning attempts.
