Replaced my Furrion radio. Power on button is damaged. New is Jensen JWM22, about $60 Amazon. It does have a square face so a little jigsaw work required. I cut off the previous radio’s wiring to leave the wire identifiers to match to the new one’s wires. I used crimp on connectors with heat shrink from Harbor Freight. Only messed up one Sounds good on radio, haven’t tested the other inputs.
Furrion replacements, one step to the good with each!
When I added my EMS, the Furrion power inlet wire fasteners stripped out easily, replaced with the cheapest one Amazon had for half the Furrion price.

Here’s the pic. Closeup and placement shots. I also inspected my Air Con inlet. Popped of the panel to find a mesh filter well on its way to clogged. Cleaned that.

I'm pretty sure it's one of these.

I ordered this one for the overhead lights for the murphy bed since it had the same form factor as the original switch.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MF2YQ3H...roduct_details
I did order the one cboss showed for the rest of the lights in the RV. Just waiting for a blank to install in my main control panel.

You addressed this to Doc73 but you referenced the steps which were in my photo .....
Love the steps, but it's almost a love/hate relationship.
Pros:
They are lighter than the steel factory steps.
They are hugely more stable and safe (though I didn't get the railing)
They reach closer to the ground especially when the adjacent wheels are on blocks (don't need a step stool)
Factory steps needed frequent repair (including welding) and these won't
Cons:
They required door and screen door bottom trimming in my case (major task)
They are heavy enough that letting them down and raising them takes two hands and some muscle .. DW can't do it mostly due to being 5' 4"
The door has to be fully opened and locked in position to not interfere with deployment or retraction
The feet have to be adjusted for each new location including a pit stop
Letting them down takes some time and if it's a rest stop where you want to use your own bathroom and waited too long to stop, that delay can be a .....nuisance
Drilling pilot holes for the mounting screws resulted in drilling into a pex water line under the floor. Replacing that took two days.
Thoughts:
There is a four-step model. I think it would have been better and safer yet since the step "rise" is significant on the three-step model
I have not yet done anything about the hole left by the factory steps. Some people put a locking tool box there. I think I'll get some sheet aluminum and paint and cover it matching the adjacent panels.
I should have done the disc brakes years ago. Had lots of problems with the drums including weak braking. I had to upgrade the axles to get disc brakes though the factory axles were marginal at best so I didn't mind.

My DW is also 5' 4". When we ordered our 5er it was scheduled to come with the typical MorRyde steps that set inside the door. She found that she couldn't handle them when lowering or raising so we opted to stay with the typical pull-out steps under the door frame.
In 2019 we purchased the Morryde Quick Connect Step. These connect to brackets that sit just under the door so no interference with door. https://www.morryde.com/products/qui...ep-stp54-012h/ We still have the pull-out steps which we still utilize when on the road, in storage and setting up. If we are at a spot 2 days or longer I will connect the MorRyde's and push the pull-out's in. If we will be at the spot say 3-4 and longer, I will attach the hand rail. When not using the steps while traveling I typically store the steps in the bed of the truck and in the pass thru bay when in storage.
Don't regret doing it this way.

Gave mine a good bath. Had some birthday gift card money burning a hole in my pocket and picked up a Ryobi flavored, battery powered, scrub brush.
Used it to clean the awning, which I hadn't done in a while. And, as it turns out, it worked quite nicely to remove the black streaks along the side with nothing more than my usual car wash soap.

DW had even more difficulty with the factory steps ... they didn't come out or go back easily. And I got tired of welding and installing new hinge bolts and such (each such effort bought another year or two). The next step was a complete rebuild so went went with the fold out steps. Not a great experience but I'd probably do the same again (except go four steps in spite of a bit more weight).

I decided to solve the problem by soldering them onto the wires. The wires and connectors all had a surface layer of grease that had built up over the years due to their proximity to the hydraulic pump. I cleaned them off first with a spray of Brake Cleaner followed by a spray of Electrical Contact Cleaner.
Then I used a small acetylene Plumbers Torch (No Oxygen) and soldered them back on. A bit of heat shrink and a wrap of electrical tape and they are better than new.

I am just putting the finishing touches on the install of the BigFoot system. When I get a few minutes I will write a thread of the entire job and post pics of the finished product.

Consider doing the same for the blinding LEDs under the awning.

Stopped by Rural King.
Bought four of their heavy duty tent stakes. $5 each but basically a 12” rebar spike with a loop welded on near the end. Guyed my awning down with the site’s picnic table last time camping because I couldn’t spike into the built up gravel. They even have 2 foot versions!
Bought some rodent repellent, four pack for $15. Friend said it works, we’ll see.
Seat cushions, I.e. butt pads. They sell their red logo 1” version for $9.98 BUT (pun intended) they have plain black 2” ones for $4.99 in the hunting/camping section. Bought two for those hard picnic benches

Added a bumper mount spare tire carrier. I removed my spare mount from the back/underside of my factory rack for ground clearance and added capacity. I'll still have to throw the spare in the truck if I use the rack. Took up too much space under the bed and added tongue weight.
Tested my water pump. It ran. It didn't when I tested it before but I think that was because I had just disconnected city water and the system was still under pressure.
The TT has become my nap location. No noises other than the Air Conditioning dull roar of white noise

Installed LED Dimmer #2
Just finished installing my 2nd dimmer for the rest of the lights in my camper. First one was for the two LED lights above the Murphy Bed.
Had to do a lot of hogging out the blank to accept the dimmer, royal pain but worth it.
