Perfect! And if it came with the plastic lid/seat, replace with the wooden slow close made for it and it will even be better!

Because they don't require venting, a lot of owners move their LFP batteries inside the heated area and reroute the battery cables. You want the cables to the inverter as short as possible, anyway.

That solves the freezing problem while the trailer is in use but not necessarily while in storage. You could store the batteries at home but that's work.

For the lifepo4, they're half the weight of a much smaller battery, I think my 100ah are 25lbs, they're fully sealed and usually have handles, very easy to pull and shove in a cupboard.

You could tell smell the difference.

The 300s had a two-piece bowl, believe it or not. In many cases, urine got into the gap between the two pieces and never went away. After a while, they got really smelly. It was so bad that the manufacturer offered a recall, then a discount on an upgrade, to the 310 which was a single-piece construction.

The OP's apparently didn't leak, but the 300's also had a reputation for being squeaky as the pieces moved around while the occupant was seated.

The 310 replacement is an exact dimensional fit, making it a quick and easy replacement.

Good to know, I have to go check mine but I'm fairly certain it's not two piece.

What's this seat upgrade? Expensive I'm assuming

It is exactly like a normal residential toilet seat (enamel coated wood). Not flimsy and thin like the all plastic version.

Not certain why these companies don’t (or won’t) clearly label these inverters… why modified sine wave inverters are made is beyond my understanding. Who uses them?

I almost purchased one for a system upgrade on my TT, but found what it was only after doing some digging.

Drove 320 miles round trip today to drop my 5er off at Orvan's (Amish Family RV) for work. Found some issues and having some enhancement made. Mainly adding a ceiling fan (not exhaust) in bedroom to help circular air from the A/C. Should be done next week but will need to make the round trip after Memorial day to pick it up. No waiting months for dealership to do the work half-....

Indiana is doing more widening of US20 to four lane after Goshen to Shipshewana that is two lane currently. Imagine it will be a bear come tourist season. They are doing a bunch of work on the I 80 West bound from I 65 to the border where they have two left single lanes similar to express lanes where you can't get off till the end of the construction. Also I 80 in Illinois is getting enhancement through Joliet, just take your time.

Be safe -

Loaded up getting ready to head out in the morning to a bluegrass festival my band is performing at on Saturday.

Also installed my replacement WFCO 1000w inverter that quit last trip out. BIG shout out to WFCO!

WFCO replaced it with a brand new unit. I'm still under FR factory warranty and couldn't even get Cedar Creek to think about sending a replacement. They believed it could only be tested and installed by a certified R/V technician. Said if I tried to replace it, it would void my warranty on the entire 5th wheel.

I called WFCO, explained my issue. WFCO emailed a troubleshooting guide and in the last step it says if you get XXX, the inverter must be replaced. They had no issue with me following the troubleshooting steps and then sending a new one.

I'm REAL disappointed in CC service! There were LOTS of promises at the Tampa R/V show when talking to the factory reps about not bowing to the mercy of having to take it to a dealer (by doing my own work) and wait months but nothing said there has come to fruition.

Anyway... Happy Camping everyone!

First time having avian works of art while perched on the bike rack. Wonder if this is culprit fowl-ing things up. There were two and never seen them in the area before. Supposed to rain today so will see what nature can do for me.

The camper is getting used for a sleepover tonight so I went to get everything running and this little guy caused the water tank heater flame to backdraft out and it damn near melted all the wiring. Good thing it sounded weird right away and I had the switch off and the flame out in seconds.

Replaced the patio awning LED strip and the slide topper.

The Carefree OEM has the LED strip stitched to the bottom of the awning where it meets the sidewall. Stitches were failing. (Yes, I'll have to replace the patio awning at some point - today's activity was to get the LED's sorted.) Went with a generic deal from Amazon that moves the strip to the sidewall just below where the awning attaches.

Slide topper also had failing stitches where it meets the body. Would have taken ~30 minutes if I had my act together. But as usual I had a bit of brain fade and wound up losing tension on the spring inside the tube. Got it sorted pretty easily but it added more time to get things sorted.
