Installed a 6 rod, fishing rod holder to the ceiling of the pass through and made a cord to connect my truck's built in inverter generator to the camper.

Here, it is running the camper's air conditioner.

Note the wattage draw and the rpms. The gas engine only runs for about a minute, every 10 - 15 minutes or so. The rest of the time its on the hybrid's battery. Cycles on and off automatically. A boondocker's dream.

Nice invention and a no brainer mod IMO.
Would you post a link to the unit, please?

Crawled under to check the FW tank mounting. No problems but tank is full again from city water. Apparently towed it home that way. Removed the vent tube I added since it had water in it and wouldn’t vent properly. Broke out my cheap 5x8’ non-EZ-Up (if the wind takes it, I won’t cry) and astroturf rug to take next camping trip. Will likely trim the rug for easier storage. The small plastic RV rug I have does a lousy job of smoothing out gravel spots. Removed a rocking chair for more storage. Just have two camp chairs now Also pulled two 5 gallon water jugs to take. Park only has “modern camping” for RVs, power only. At least it has a few potable water spigots and a dump station.
Even SWMBO bragged to our daughter yesterday that we’ve pretty much removed all the camper items we don’t routinely use for more space, less weight, less things to move out of the way.

Last weekend... replaced my old Girard gswh-1M tankless water heater with a new Fogatti InstaShower 8 Plus tankless water heater, the new unit has a digital temp setting like the one in my house, better temp control. So I ordered a new high pressure high flow shower head and a new kitchen faucet with more water flow.
Finally after all these years I did install a battery cut of switch.

I adjusted the slide-out, which was a bit tilted, and swapped out my solar controller for a new one as the factory one wasn't playing well with my new LiPo battery.

USB ports with switches

Replaced the USB ports with ones that have a power switch. When boondocking, every watt is sacred.

With temps in the 50s this a.m. decided to test the furnace and give it that first time burn, with the vents open, to get the fumes out.

Worked perfectly but discovered something I can't believe I missed before.

On 2023 and at least 2022 models, there was a heating vent in the bedroom. Never noticed and never occurred to me that they'd omitted that in 2024.

No idea if by design or omission. No problem in these temps but colder?

I'll make a couple calls come Mon.

The front over-cab window on our 2016 Coachmen Prism 24G had come loose on a recent trip. Gorilla tape got us the 600 miles home. About 80% of the window was loose when I removed the tape. I lifted it up and put some 3M-4000 sealant on the seal and then added a bead of the 3M-4000 around the inside of the window. I thought the 3M-4000 was a bit expensive at $38/tube but a friend with a similar issue, who is also into boating, said that was what he used years ago and has not had any more issues.

Installed piano hinges and velcro tabs to the dinette benches.

Much easier to access.

Finally got the 2nd FanMate cover installed over the bathroom vent. Just one of those things where something else kept coming up; took way longer than I expected to get time to do it.

Shouldn't be that busy. Not good for ones health.

Connection Shelter

After 3 attempts to keep the 120 Vac plug dry, I made this. The other side of the bucket is cut identically.

After 7 years, DW had enough of the short bathroom faucet. She'd found one she liked on Amazon, handed it to me, and said, "replace the one on the bathroom sink". So to keep her happy, I replaced it. It's plastic, but it works. Took me about 10 minutes to replace it.Click image for larger version

Pardon my ignorance; but, isn't that connection between those 2 products supposed to be intended for "outside"? (i.e. weatherproof?) I don't understand the need to cover them?
