Hmm, a side hinged door might work! I wouldn't have thought of that.

I do have to say- this was one of my cheapest projects. Clearly the door is reused, so were the drawer slides, and the hinges were repurposed from a desk. The only money I have into this was the project piece of MDF.

Why not just move the front of the drawer slide up about 1/4" and leave the rear of the slides alone? Much easier and the drawer would have a tendency to close automatically.

Will replace the zip ties with a hose clamp as soon as I go to Lowes, etc. while we're down here. Whole new ballgame when we get home!

The feet just flip down. I put mine at the mid point when I store the steps. The height of the steps is also adjustable. Easy is, easy out

The discussion was about figuring out how to get water for your coffee pot. If you had an outside kitchen, you'd have the faucet for the sink right there.

What did you do to your camper today?

Finally installed my drinking water faucet and filters.

Our hot water tank low point drain cap was leaking while camping in Savannah area, so I stopped by the local Lowe's and bought a pair of 1/2" plastic stop valves, like someone posted here previously, and just installed them a few mins ago. Problem solved, and will be easier to drain in future if I ever need to

We are perfectly happy with what we have, I don't want to have to make all the improvements to a new one and buying a new/different trailer just to get a water faucet to make coffee is a little much for us.

It was said in jest. (I was too lazy to go to "Advanced" and add the laughing guy ).

Didn't do anything with the printer tray, but I did do a couple of little things.

Hung a coat rack in the bedroom:

I also put a screw into the back of an over-the-door hanger that we use on a much-to-thin closet door. It stays on when the door is closed, but jumps at the slightest pressure or when the door is open.

I dunno. It'll be a week+ before I get back to it.
or change the plywood to a thinner one? That or make the door and drawer slide out all at once at one unit.

Good thoughts. But...

Even with thinner plywood, I worry about the "hook" at the top of the door being the next thing in the way.

The door and drawer need to be separate so that the paper has somewhere to come out and to make loading paper easier.

Use some double sided 3m tape on that puppy, that will hold it in place...

I thought it was a good idea myself. I mean if you can't walk up 3 steps to get water out of the sink, you need an outside kitchen....
