Know what you're going through. I just lost my mom not too long ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Finally got the two center stabilizer jacks installed. They had been laying in the barn for a while. Much easier installation than I expected.

Welp, I'm admitting defeat. I tried removing the electric stabilizers, but the nut is rusted to the bolt (even after a few shots of WD40 and letting it soak). The real issue is that I can't easily get to the topside of the bolt and have stripped it of any angles so now it just spins.

I'm annoyed- I'm going to call a mobile RV tech and warn him that he may need an angle grinder to take it down. We'll see.

That's great to hear, do you store anything in it or just nothing but air [emoji14]

Did you check the zip ties, are they in good condition still?

I periodically pump helium in it so that it stays lighter than air!

I have a two 90-degree sewer elbows (for the campsite connection.. I'm not sure why I'm carrying my old one, but it's in there).

I have a "Y" sewer connector.

I had a sewer donut, but it dry rotted and I threw it out about 2,000 miles ago.

And I have a basket with 2 x 50' collapsible hoses that I use for my black tank flushes.

I check the zip ties at every overnight stop and many quick stops. They're holding as strong now as when I first put them on.

PB Blaster works great for the rust, let it soak in for a bit and re-apply. DO threads stick out bellow the nut? I've used a pair of vise grips to grab this nub, used a wrench to loosen the nut (after soaking) then a tool to cut off the bolt above the now loosened nut. Could use a flush cut saw, hack saw, dremel...

Six sided wrenches or sockets for taking anything apart that is out in the elements! Plus a few shots of KROIL a couple days before you start. Work on a lot of old cars and that is what I use.

There's a little tool that cracks the nut, you can pick it up at Harbor Freight

Thanks for the ideas everyone, but mobile tech will be out tomorrow. I'm going to have him yank these down and then actually install the new scissor jacks. I really hate the movement that I get with the electric stabilizers and it seems that Lippert is the only real game in town for self-leveling electric stabilizers.

I'm not setup for it, no. I wouldn't mind it and actually looked at hydraulic leveling systems, but that whole kit is too expensive for me.

I know this will come out wrong.. But I love my nut buster.. Best tool ever, next to duct tape and that impact tool I have that you hit with a hammer to loosen stuck screws and bolts.

Good thing that I'm having the mobile RV tech out tomorrow as I went into the bathroom and noticed this fairly steady drip into the shower from the skylight:
