Sigh, one of my slides is leaking at the bottom end of the seal. Looks like a job for Monday.

That's right, you are in the F state that's getting a lot of rain.

I had friends leave there a day early because of the rain. Got tired of all the rain down there.

I like that today we considered 60-degrees to be "friggin cold".

We haven't been inundated with rain. 2 days now since getting here last Sunday. Supposed to be dry the next few days, but still "cold" with day time highs in the upper (50s/lower 60s). Then it warms back up.

In this image it settled into the gravel a bit, but still raised the other tire off the ground. For the rest of the tires I put a little piece of plywood under the Rapid Jack. In any event... I put 45 pumps of grease in each hub to ensure I replaced the old grease with new. The old stuff that pushed out was quite thin. Grease is cheap. I'm real happy I've got good grease in there for this season! Entire job took 1 hr 20 mins. Easy.

Just out of curiosity how often are you supposed to do that? I bought mine new 4-2015 and have 1600 miles on it, thinking this spring I should so it

I would....can't assume there's the right amount from the get-go.....I put a lot of miles on every year, so I do these at the start of each year...

My old 5er manual said to do it annually. I did every spring and never had a problem in 13 years of owning it. I did pull everything apart and repack the bearings about every 5 years (did it twice in 13 years).

I inspect the bearings and pack every year. Then before every trip, grease, adj. brakes and check tire press. Also inspect lighting.

Dexter says every year. There's a list of approved greases in the manual. I use mobile 1 synthetic. Jack tire off ground and rotate the tire while you displace all the old grease to keep from blowing out the rear seal. Check your zerk fittings as I had one back off. Now I always rotate counterclockwise. When you see that pretty red Mobile 1 coming back as pretty as it went in, your in good shape. Check for excessive bearing play by grabbing the top of the wheel and pulling / pulling back and forth. Easy lube axles are the best thing since sliced bread. Ha.

A few rainy days here revealed a leak somewhere in the roof w/water dripping through a A/C vent. Caught half a day without rain and went up on the roof and found a roof vent with a half exposed screw where the lap sealant must have shrunk away a little. Cleaned around the vent and re-applied another bead of lap sealant. Now, another day of steady (sometimes heavy) rain and no leaks detected.

DW also had her "to do" list for me. New washing machine install and kitchen & bathroom backsplash installs.

Now it's time for a few cold ones and see which new Superbowl commercial I like best!

Installed Amber clearance lights and new levels on the coach and then cleaned the awning. What a PITA that was. I just ordered a grease gun and some Lucas synthetic grease so I can freshen up the axle bearings.

I'll join in.

Yesterday, we put a deposit on a 2016 Sandpiper 376BHOK. Today, I ordered an Andersen 5th wheel connection to clip in my bed rails.

Can't wait to get it home Saturday.
