Let us (or at least me ) know what you think of that keyless RV lock. I know one of these times somehow we are going to lose both keys (though i think we have 3). It would be nice for the kids too, I think.

I'm most excited that it comes with a remote key fob!

X2 - I want to justify the cost since I'm not lucky enough to win one!

For the RV locks, I Googled reviews and got mixed results. Looks like they run about $240!!

Mine came from the factory with the keypad lock and, so far, it has worked flawlessly.

Let me know how well that lock works. Mine came with a Bauer lock but will kill the batteries in a months time. I like the keyless idea, but when I don't feel like I can rely on it because the batteries go so quickly I just treat it like a regular lock.

A buddy said he had a different brand before and that one sucked but this one is the cat's meow. We'll see!

Thanks to our warm Colorado sun, most of the 2 feet of snow we got a few weeks ago is melted.

So I stopped in at the RV lot at the AF Academy to visit Rocky and check on her and to top off the tires. (The tires were only down a few pounds, which was great.)

I did hear a chirping sound coming out of her, though, so will have to bring a 9-volt battery next time and replace the smoke alarm battery.

We can't wait to bring her out camping again....won't be long now!!!

We bought one ...... easy to install. Works nice when your hands are full groceries!

The only complaint I have with mine is that it's a little slow in reacting to the key fob and locking & unlocking. It has a motor/gear assembly that extends & retracts the dead bolt so, you have to wait a few seconds for it to run its' course.

I didn't install the key pad. It's just held on with 3M double sided tape. I just didn't like the looks of that thing stuck next to the door or that it could eventually fall off & bounce down the road.

My batteries last quite awhile. The key fob batteries are not easy to find, they are 12 volt #23-9?? (can't remember exactly). They are a skinnier version of the #23 battery. I found them at Radio Shack. And, as the batteries in the key fob get weaker, you almost have to put the key fob right up to the door lock. I've never been able to get the door to respond from any further than 6 feet or so using the key fob.

Ordered two new zero gravity recliners to match rig in bronze/black

Ordered expandable trellis/lattice to put around rear and deck side of camper to keep dog on leash out of the jacks and stabilizers

Working on finishing up restoring a vintage porch glider to put on deck with new zero gravity recliners

Bought clear soft vinyl to make storm door mod to screen door so we can leave the main door open during summer when A/C is running

Waiting for warm weather to paint the inside of the main door and storage bay doors brown - they are bright white now against the bronze exterior

It's looking beautiful this weekend, I might dewinterize her today, give her a systems check and start getting ready.

If I had the time I would, certainly would be easier. I know it don't take long but just had a lot of other things to do.

Found an area where gap was exposed mostly due to poor original application of sealant. (Camper will be 2 in April). Cleaned rear lap seam with mineral spirits and applied a bead of Dicor self leveling sealant.

Applied a dab of waterproof grease to the antenna screw which was rusting.

Continue inspection and touch up tomorrow.
