It's an upgrade... 300 is a plastic unit; 310 is a porcelain one.
Nothing wrong with the current one, but the porcelain one seems a lot nicer, and it's a straight swap - drain, mounting hardware, and water lines match right up. Or at least that's the theory...

Is the seat on the 310 cheap thin plastic like on the 300 or is it better?

Nothing on our camper, worked on OCW's axle stab jacks. Got the main channel cut off, reinforced and the mounting brackets welded on. Now to shorten the screw and jack channel. Have to wait until Mon so I can go get my oxygen & acetylene bottles filled. Material is too thin for me to mig weld. Mardy could mig it, but he's in Anchorage and won't be here until sometime in October.

So, one of the things that always has bugged me on my trailer was finding the light connector like this:

So I decided to fix it once and for all. I purchased an inexpensive seven pin receptacle from Tractor Supply to put over the end of the connector to protect it.

Then I figured I might as well mount it somewhere to hold the cable up and decided to put it on the back of my propane tank cover. I just drilled a hole in the cover:

and mounted the receptacle in it.

I then decided to wire the 12 volt terminal to the running lights so that I could turn on the running lights while the plug was inserted in the receptacle. This would run the lights off of the 12 volt system in the trailer while it was parked and disconnected from the truck. I also figured this would be a safe way to illuminate the trailer if I had to unhook it on the side of the road to get assistance.
Wiring was simple. Just two wires from the terminals to a toggle switch on the propane cover took care of it.

Now when I unhook my trailer from my truck I just plug the connector in here to keep it clean and off the ground, and I can just flip the switch to turn all my running lights on while parked at the campground or wherever.

tspin818, that's a nice mod. How do you handle the power supply wire from the, I assume, battery when you have to remove the propane tank cover? Also, shouldn't the toggle switch be a weatherproof type?

He's using the female plug with a jumper to the toggle and back again to complete the circuit inside of the male plug. The top terminals of the plug is used, running lights and 12v charge terminals. So there are no wires really running any where or hooked to anything else other than the wire from the receiver plug to toggle & back to the receiver plug.

When we had the tt, I just added a tube with the bottom partially open on the tongue to stick the plug in.

We use a small trash can over the power jack. Put hooks on the side to hold the chain and the power plug. Also keeps the jack covered.

I use the plug holder that came with my Husky HB4500 electric tongue jack. It wouldn't work on the back of the jack head were it was installed at the factory because my propane tank cover is too close, so I mounted it on the side of the jack post with the factory-supplied zip ties. I hook the chains on the L brackets for my Equal-i-zer WDH.

I just swapped out the OEM breakaway cable with a Fastway coiled cable.

I just used a toggle switch that I already had. If it was 110v I probably would have purchased a weatherproof switch, but I'm not too worried about 12v.

Swapped out my DirecTv dish non-SWiM 5 LNB (which needed a dedicated coax for each Tv) for a 3 LNB SWiM only 1 coax required for multiple Tv's) that was given to me. This entailed installing a power inserter & pass-thru splitter.
Also installed a satellite arm hinge kit to allow it to be folded up for easier storage.
