Now that you are done yours can you have a go at mine?
Truth be told I had a look at my trailer a couple weeks ago and it was still looking nice and shiny from my fall wax and polish. I was quite happy to see that, going to be a bit easier to clean it up once it's time this spring

Replaced the tire I was worried about. Went with Maxxis, $110 out the door. Went from load range C to D. Will do the other three later this spring.
Greased the bearings - 10 minute job followed by 40 min of cleanup. I can sure make a mess!
Removed FR water filter and bypassed it. One less thing to worry about breaking!
T minus 13 days and counting until Ft Wilderness!!

Today I put her back in the storage lot after the maiden voyage. We'll get her back out for Easter.

Today I installed a Surge Guard 50amp surge protector and tomorrow will hook up the remote display as it had not come in until late today.

I dumped the low point drains last night. Forgot my socket to pull the drain out of the water heater. Looks like I'll pump antifreeze through tomorrow night. I have a conference in CA the 1st week of April. The average last freeze here is April 15th. I was hoping I could get lucky and make it through until then, but if it gets cold while I'm out of town, DW won't do anything with it and then I'm in trouble. Oh well.

I feel your pain. I got out early this year and I am now looking doing the same thing tomorrow night. I plan to dump the drains on everything but I am not going to winterize. I will put the pink stuff thru the traps to clear the water but wonder if I might just leave the heat on for a night or two to protect the toilet or leave the little heater near it. Might do both. If it goes south for me, I will share.
I was just un-listed to attend a partner conference in AZ during the first week in April and I am so hurt that I will have to spend the first two weekends of April at Carlyle Lake. Woe is me.

Wow. That's pretty rough.
I wonder if they knew they did you a favor?
Have fun semi- winterizing. I thought of bring my trailer home and just plugging it in, but it takes up my entire driveway and pumping a couple of gallons in is easier than towing it home and it sitting blocking everything.
Oh well. A few more weeks and we'll be in the clear.

I installed the Blue Streak system to treat the black tank and keep the potty clean. I have used the geo system for years without any trouble so I hope the Blue streak system does the job. I also raised the RV off the ground, greased the bearings and adjusted the brakes a few notches till there was a bit of drag on the drums. Next year I'll pull the drums, clean it all up and give it a good inspection with new seals, did that last year.

You will love the blue streak system. I've used it for 15 years.

finally designed a system for carrying our bikes on the front,...had bought a rack for back bumper, THEN saw the factory sticker saying anything added might void warranty,......we don't use gas, so had removed the propane tanks very first thing to get rid of that weight and that area had been my target for the bikes for a long time but just never could get the idea worked out,.....everything is solid and easy to mount and un-mount,......just about to run out of mods......lol.............happy trailering...(our trailering is getting happier with ever completed mod)

if we're going from one cg to another, it will only be a days travel at the very most, usually just a few hours, if we're headed home, same thing,.......if we're leaving home headed towards a cg and its going to be a next day arrival(meaning we'll stop at a welcome center for one night) I'll freeze a block/small bag of ice for the freezer, .......three yrs., three trailers, over 350 days travel and trailer time, never used propane for fridge or anything else., never had a problem

That is a minimalist spirit. LOL.
When the DW wants hot water, I tell her to boil some. She does not see the spirit the way I do. LOL.

I still have my propane. I am not going to give up the furnace and fridge functionality.
My next mod will be to replace the propane only water heater that does not even have DSI. Yes the DW complains as I explain that we always did it this way before walls with wheels.

Did nothing to the camper, they did finish pressure washing the drive and in the process they had to hose off my truck cover. Waiting for it to dry so I can take it off and pull the 5er back on the slab in front of the garage.
Decided to just go ahead and move the trailer back and put the cover back on the truck and let it dry or get wetter when it rains. Everything back in it's place.
