LOL, Once a year I cull my crap. I pull everything out onto the floor and evaluate it's usefulness. Takes me about two years to get rid of stuff. I "try" to apply the principal that "if you can't see it, you probably don't need it".

Can't begin to tell you about how much crap I have purchased only to find that I already had it.

Actually it is a light beige. I'm not a fan of white either. My dream Dynamax Super C is all black.

WOW, someone else that has that happen. Sometimes I have to buy something because I can't find the one I have. Then right after I open it, I find the one I had.

(Wobbles: I went to college at SIU, Carbondale. You near there?)

Further north, Fairview Heights area, just a gun shot away from East. St. Louis.

I spent time running the Carbondale area. Younger years, when I did not expect/care about living this long. I could have been retired by now instead of planning on making the DW become a Walmart greeter in 10 years.

In order to winterize the expansion tank, it would have to be mounted correctly, vertical with the port on the bottom.

Great Polish Job

First of all your trailer looks GREAT, Did your son use the wax on wax off method (by hand) or did he use an orbital buffer? I have a Heritage Glen with the same front cap color and yours looks like I could put my hand through it... Cuddo's to your Son for a great job well done. hope to hear back from you?

Actually with the shutoff valve closed and the drain open the bladder will push all water out of the tank and drain the small amount in the line. I do not plan to put RV antifreeze in the expansion tank.

He put the wax on by hand but removed and then buffed out with an orbital buffer.

Ya, there was a great cave system nearby. I did 3 trips underground. Great memories! Also great memories going to St. Louis for concerts. Many concerts. The Who, Yes, Pink Floyd, Todd Rundgren, Jethro Tull, Alice cooper, Journey, ELO, etc. And on campus, Chicago, Ambrosia, Fleetwood Mac, Leon Russell, Paul Williams, Bread, BTO, Olivia Newton John.

Got our 4 rocking chairs modified by removing the rockers and replacing the rivets with 1/4" hitch pins. Makes them a lot easier to store plus we now have the option of rockers or regular short chairs. A little more trouble sitting up/tearing down, but well worth the extra effort for storage.

Changed out a brand new Thetford plastic toilet for a Dometic 310 porcelain toilet. Sold the Thetford for $60 on CL and picked up the 310 for free from someone who switched their 5vr to a composting unit.Click image for larger version

Complete bath from roof to tires (wash n wax). Then used McGuiar's on hood and 1/3 of one side. Put some Dicor on some iffy spots. Hope the one with Haps is ok. Could not find the other one. Gave generator a good exercise.

Let's see... I installed the wall mount and tv. I put some Dicor on some spots on the roof, clear caulk on some less than perfect jobs done at the factory, and what was that last thing... Oh yes, installed my tornado tank rinser actually "on" the black water tank this time!

I actually put a "T" in so I have one connection to rinse both tanks. (For those that missed my previous post, I accidently put my black tank rinser on my gray water tank) We will see if it works. If not, I still have plenty of hose left to setup separate connections. I will try to get a photo and post it up!

The wife prepped and stock the inside for our maiden voyage tomorrow. Kids are very excited!

Installed the RVLock today. Took about 15 minutes as I had to remove a little fiberglass to get it to fit and sit flush. All programmed and ready for camping.

This weekends upgrade?... we live in our trailer 5 months a year and the original mattress was crap. We replaced with a pillow top of good quality. Love it, except it's about 6" thicker and makes getting in and out of bed a challenge.
Also the overhead lights seen a lot closer.... :-). Next project maybe changing them to pot lights.
