What we did

After our last trip to Winthrop Wa. I redid the shelves for clothing storage. The other method did not work too well. My Ww, made wheel covers so now the wheels are snug as a bug in the rug. Still got a little crack in the front siding that needs to be fixed. Enjoying the summer with our new used Roo.

I would be interested in how you do on your Roo Ikss too. Looking to list my 2014 this weekend to upgrade to 2017 Freedom Express 292BHDS Liberty Edition. I'm tired of keeping tent ends clean and setting up each trip, but do love the unit.

Hauled the big table out of the A Frame and replaced it with a folding bistro table. There will be very very few instances where we'd need the second bed so it makes more sense for us. Also found a great 3 cube shelf at Target for $25 - turned it on it's side and will use it as a dresser for our clothing, toiletries, etc. They also had a higher quality shoe organizer that I'm hanging from the 2 worthless hooks on the ceiling by the smoke detector - easy up, easy down - loads of cubbies for storing kitchen things! It will also serve as a shield from morning sun coming through the cracks around the blinds in the bubble windows into my eyes! Think I'm done for a little bit!! Most everything has it's place now and we'll have more room to maneuver. 2nd trip this weekend!

Where did you mount the display? I'm thinking of getting an Ultra V and have been thinking about where to mount it. So far, best option seems to be above the fuse box.

That's a good testament for Maxxis, looking at your old tires I never would have guessed they where 5 years old. Did they show any weather cracking or anything?

Dream Dinette installed

Started this earlier but finished it today.

Adding the Dream Dinette mechanism to our camper table and other stuff as the project went along.

Pic 01) Removed everything from dinette slide out.
Pic 02) Taped off wall area I didn't want to get contact cement on and DW says, this carpet and padding sucks. Needs to go.
Pic 03) Bare to the floor.
Pic 04) Fitting the new carpet and padding.
Pic 05) Had carpet bordered after cutting and attached Dream Dinette mechanism to wall.
Pic 06) DD mechanism attached.
Pic 07) Putting stuff back.
Pic 08) Added table top.
Pic 09) All finished.
Pic 10) All finished 2.

Now the DW wants me to replace the rest of the carpet.

I had something fall and break one of the ornate glass panels in the door left of the TV. I can't match the glass pattern anymore so I decided to put smoked plexiglas in both doors so they'd match.

This is what it looked like originally. Too bad!

Although, with the smoked plexiglas, it matches the upper glass doors and you'd never know it wasn't supposed to be that way. This is an after picture.

Lost power in the middle of the afternoon. It was hot out - 91* and humidity to match.
The 30 amp breaker at the pedestal tripped. Reset it and the EMS checked out fine so I reconnected.

No power. . .uh oh!!!

Checked breakers in camper, none tripped. Reset them all anyway. Still nothing.

Disconnected twist lock from trailer and the black terminal was melted!

Went to Menards and got a replacement (which, FYI, are NOT in the RV plug/adapter/cord section - they are in with the regular plugs).

Replaced the plug with no issues, bit getting that $-#+#% black screw-on fastener ring back in place took me 20 minutes.

3 hours after replacement, all is good. Oh, and I did remove/inspect the trailer side of the connection and no damage there.

Me thinks we got lucky that there wasn't any further damage. . .
