It looks good, try a wood touch up pen or just put the screws back in

Yeah but... It isn't how it's supposed to be. I shouldn't have accepted it but they assured me it wasn't an issue.

Did they install it or did you? If they did then I would agree with you. Otherwise, you could touch it up.

I installed it, but it was supposed to be ordered with it. They didn't do what they were supposed to do. The camper was supposedly ordered for me the Monday after the Hershey show, but it was built August 25th... I think they pulled a fast one and gave me the sample off the lot

Some colored wood filler will make those holes less noticeable.

Yep... good colored wood filler and you'll never see them at 60 mph.

The trouble is... I don't go that fast when I sit on the couch.

I was not having any issues. I just always liked having them to give a bit more cushion for the trailer. I had put them on my 1500 when I had a bumper pull. I filled them to 15 or 20psi and it took out any of the "reverb" I'd get when on concrete highways and such (the bounce that seems to multiply as you hit the 10 foot expansion joints). I know it is a 5er thing as well to get a bit of this bounce so I have gathered. I will do the same to just have them soak up a bit of the road bumps.

I actually ended up getting them Amazon Prime. I was going to get them from another online retailer then they went on super sale for the Load Lifter Ultimate 5000 for just over $300.

It was pretty easy to install them. The instructions call to drill the frame instead of the no drill u-bolts due to my 5er frame brackets. But in the end the u-bolts worked just as well with the frame brackets in place.

That stinks... It does look good though. If the filler does not work maybe some quarder round or something and add a border?

I'm thinking of making a black steel trim piece to cover it, but I really shouldn't have to. I emailed hitch... Will see what happens

Ended up taking another forum members unit into the dealer for them as they have sold their Ridgeline and are getting a Jayco class A. [emoji20]

This is their Rpod attached to Clifford. Click image for larger version

So I no longer get to see them at my dealership or in rallies- just camping buddies!

Upside, as I was helping them get a larger storage space, another Ridgeline and Rpod combo pulled in and helped them back into their spot as single axles are tricky the first few times. Turns out he is already a customer at my store.

Not that you should have to but a piece of trim will cover it and nobody will be the wiser
