Just finished washing and waxing, installed the hard start cap on A/C, readjusted my Anderson Hitch cause one side had moved, put felt pads in key places around trailer, installed safe, adjusted bathroom door, drilled a lock hole thru one of the spare tire studs to put a lock on it, and took it back to storage. And wouldn't you know it, as soon as I dropped it, I remembered that I forgot to put a decal on it! DW was like "hell no- we are not coming back here today!"

I thinks it is time for me to get one of those mini-kegs and hook an I.V. to my arm cause I'm not moving from the couch!

Sadly I have done nothing this weekend but yard work, keeping ahead of the weeds requires me to spray soon and often.

HA! I just picked up that same holder on Thursday! I'm going to hang it on the side cabinet, just as you go into the trailer. On think I don't like about it is the corner on the bottom, so I'm going to cut that off, so I don't impale my noggin on it, then paint the whole thing Tiffany blue.

Today we brushed off the spiderwebs, and hooked up the trailer for the test voyage, since we had never hooked it up to the new truck yet. Pulled like a DREAM! We just went to the school and back, but it was nice to see everything is, as it should be!

Uncovered camper (thanks to the generosity to cznedy ). Installed new flat screen to replace the 15 inch. Everything looks good. Will try out water systems at the end of April.

Today, after watching a beautiful sunrise and having b'fast with the windows open, we vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned up the BBQ. Life's tough.

Got my trailer-aid yesterday so today I took it out to the storage and gave it a try, Wanted to be sure it worked before hitting the road again. It's one of those things like insurance, would rather have it and not need it.

While at it I got out the old grease gun and pumped grease into the wheel off the ground spinning the wheel as the grease went in X 4. One wheel took 2 pumps, two others took 4 or 5 pumps and one took 14 pumps before I could see grease moving. This is a new unit with about 3k miles on it, why such a difference. After finishing the grease job I took the 5r down the highway about 20 miles and back. Temp at all 4 drums was all within 5* and the breaks seemed OK, hope no grease got into the drum area. I am from old school and have always hand packed bearings, this type of a system is new to me and I am getting old and lazy. If all goes well this year the hubs will be pulled, cleaned and a full brake inspection next spring. This is a brand new unit that we picked up 12/30/13. Also inspected the china tires, no bumps, bubbles or cracks yet. All the dust plugs were missing on all the wheels that should be on the back of the brake assembly plates. Two should be on each wheel. After a trip to NAPA they now have dust and moisture covers. I suggest that anyone that has a unit with drum brakes check behind the drum to be sure the moisture / dust covers are in place.

Nothing to the camper, but I did make a forming fixture for the lower (stow) brackets that will go in the kits.

What did you do to your camper today?

Ordered one 4 weeks ago. Get it in about 4 weeks. Been ordering stuff for it since we ordered it. I think we're already over the GVWR of the trailer.

Pulled it to the top of the yard, cleaned it's parking pad and area, them organized the basement. Then noted a few things for the dealer to address one day.

Was going to camp this weekend, life screwed that up, so I handled other chores.

Over the years it amazes me to see all the ingenious mods the owners make. I guess we're only limited by imagination and usually money (and sometimes necessity)

That's exactly how Disney operates...imagination & money...we just do it at a much smaller scale!
