Got it home from dealer after some shoddy service work. Gave her a good wash.

Not done to it yet, but picked up the battery boxes and vent hose I need to add three more batteries. I'll likely get the boxes mounted this week, measure what I need to fab up the cables, then wire it all up next week. While I'm at it, I'll look at what I need to wire up the inverter in the bedroom.

Got two primitive trips planned later this year, I should be set!

Finely finished up what I started a few days ago working on it about 4 hours a day X 3 days. I installed the Rieco Titan Ground control 4-point Leveling System. $2,449.98 Free shipping, no tax. Here's a few pics.

Did you get another CC ? I remember your old one was built custom for you in feb. or march 2013 you got it sometime like May, your big first trip was last year from Az. to Goshen Ind. when you want Full Time RV. Did you trade that in already for a 2014? You had a nice unit. What happened? Where are you and Kathy at Now.......Did you sign up for Goshen again? Just wondering? I know my unit came off the line according to the plate Dec.28, 2011, so in reality my unit was built in 2011, but I bought it new in Feb.9th, 2012. So the Vin# say's it's a 2011 and my paper work and registration is calling it a 2012. So I'm not sure if it's the date they sell it or if they will use the Vin# manufacturer date when I sell it. I think they would have to use the manufacturer's date anyone know?

Nice looking job very neat work, so how do you like it? Did you leave the rear stabilizers on? Have you noticed any flex in your frame at all? I called Lippered and we are planning to have there 3.0 ground point system on August 5th at the plant. They have a 6 pt system also but told me they would not recommend that with that frame on 8289WS. Have you had any problems leveling with it? Did your system come with a remote?......

I have only "played " with it a couple of times and I like it real well so far. The stabilizers are left on and I do use them, makes for a real solid unit. Have not noticed any flex or bounce but that is with me alone, will know more when I have DW and grandkids with us next weekend. With the stabilizers down it's like a 6 point system. It came with two remotes, one is wireless that works anywhere around the RV and the other plugs into the control box just in case the batteries go out in the wireless. It can also lift the wheels off the ground on one side should a tire need changing or lift all four wheels if you wanted to. Got to be careful not to twist the frame and crack the sidewalls.

Drilled vent holes and installed three more battery boxes, two have batteries sitting in them now, I'll need to buy one more battery later.

Now that the boxes are done, I'll mock up and measure for battery cables and draft up what I'll need to connect the vent hose to the existing vent in the front. I'll get those done sometime in the next couple of weeks. Within a month I'll have a four battery, divided into two pairs through a switch, setup ready for some boondocking!

Future plans call for a voltage gauge next to the control panel so I can actually watch the voltage instead of relying on the panel. What is 2/3 anyway?

Towed it from Gold Canyon, AZ to Springerville, AZ. Started the day at 1700 feet elevation and am now at 7000 feet.

DW cleaned the floors after our first week away. All restocked and ready for our next outing in a couple weeks! I took it to the storage lot to wait with its brother's and sister as from the Rockwood family. Our dealer only sells Rockwood and he runs the storage too. Planning on bathroom heat mod and adding a exhaust vent fan in the vent above the kitchen.

Did you wire a Dusk to Dawn switch in the circuit so they come on automatically like gljurczyk did last year when he put his leds on the steps?

I fabricated flag pole braces. So far, 30 mph gusts and it doesn't move.

After having a moderate wind gust (maybe all of about 20mph) snapped one off, I decided I needed to brace them. Eventually, I will just make a flate plate with two angled tubes, welded on. (much cleaner looking).

What does that have to do with his led lights.

I washed mine today for the first time. Not a hard job, but it sure takes longer than the TV! Going out for the 2nd trip over the weekend.

Second day of our "full timing" adventure revealed (SURPRISE!!) we still have way too much stuff. We deliberately camped for two weeks just a few miles from our long term storage unit in order to work out the kinks and box up duplicate and oversize items. So now on to Day Three....

Haven't done it yet....probably tomorrow. Planning on adding some back up lights on the rear bumper in case I pull in at night again and can't see anything. Just the small off road lights from Wally World. Just under the bumper about a foot from the end and angled about 45 degrees. Have the wiring already run, just need to put the lights on. Subject to change if I don't like the way it looks.....

Installed 5W high power led bulbs to reverse lights on TV to light up the night...will help tremendously with night time setup or before dawn hook ups
