No I haven't met Turbs but, plan to meet this fine young man in August. I hope he'll be out from under the bridge by then. Maybe Ms. Amy will let him back in the garage so he can take a shower.

After our first trip in our new Mountaineer 356TBF we ordered slide toppers. When I ordered it in Feb I decided not to get them. Went camping with a friend who has an identical fifth wheel I decided they're a nice option. Would have been 1/2 the price if ordered from the factors. $2200 installed

If it helps, you may get a nice slider topper than what the factory would have installed. When I was back at the Sabre plant, one of the fellows there commented that my dealer-installed slide toppers were nicer than what they installed. Though, mine had to be installed by the dealer as they weren't a factory option when I ordered.

While they will kinda disappear once they are installed...you will never regret getting them.

Got tired tightening faucet handle in our kitchen. Last time it broke handle. I thought the faucet rotated to left and right but found out it just tilts left and right. Couldn't find replacement so I decided to make custom handle. It works great!

Washed the roof, and it looks great. Having a large metal cover installed next week, and wanted it ready.

Picked up and dropped in the final battery so now I'm a fully functioning four battery split parallel rig ready to boondock.

Now to just find time to go! Lol!

Nothing to the camper, but did make a semi permanent mount for the Garmin in TOWTA's old junker. Out of the way and doesn't vibrate.

Does putting new shocks on the truck so the trailer tows better count?
Ordered Anderson levelers.
Received Camco vent insulator for the bedroom. (Did you know the sun starts shining at 6am? How rude!)

Nice Job OC!

Grrrrrrrr I WOULD be mounting my Awning poles now but O.M.G. WTF do they put on the stickers on those painter poles? Even sticky eating goo gone won't get the darn stickers off easily. OK so they are soaking overnight in bleach water.

Want stickers off so I can cut off blue handles and paint aluminum brown to match the cool colors on my Diamond Package but at this rate I will be having the PPST helping me install the suckers at Goshen

Can't believe how STICKY the glue on those tags are!

Bought a different storage container for the front space and rearranged some items. Also bought some decent springs for the awning brackets/ratchet system.

Started packing for Thursday's trip to Swallow Falls SP in Garrett County, MD - the scene of last year's crime where I misjudged a curve in the CG and struck a 4x4, almost tearing off the rear support of the power awning on my brand new trailer!

Hair dryer works wonders on loosening the adhesive.

Replaced the water heater bypass valve (ceased half open/closed). Holy cow...the way they assembled this plumbing it looks like tinker toys and I had to replace 3 pex "Ts" and 3 pex elbows just to replace the valve. I used the stainless pex pinch clamps and the Apollo one hand ratcheting tool. First time I've ever used pex and this tool made it a breeze. I had a total of 21 clamps and not one leak...amazing.

I'm also going to put a light in this area behind the docking station and put an observation window (plexiglass) in the panel so that I can turn on the light and periodically check for leaks. With a light and observation window, I can see the water heater, furnace, and all the plumbing behind the docking station. The bypass valve had been leaking for a while as well as it ceased half open/closed when I de-winterized it.

Picked up camper from dealer. They finally fixed (properly) my slide out gasket along with the water heater. Happy to have it back to the way it came from the factory.
