Removed curbside plastic trough with a plywood bottom and alum plate ends to gain about a foot of length and 2 inches in width plus it has square corners, etc. Have now removed the overhead mounted rack and will start modifying it to make it a floor mounted shelf with sides to facilitate it being able to come outside the basement part way to facilitate loading chairs and collapsing table. Still have to remove the driverside plastic trough and modify it like the curbside.

Pioneer AVH X-7500BT radio/GPS with bluetooth

I installed this radio yesterday....with motorized flip out. I originally wanted to replace the back up and side view monitor but no radio 3rd part could do all three cameras in one...not a bad fit, very accurate, with RV settings sounds good of course all be it factory speakers which may go next and it has and it has a video input for the iPhone 5 lightening cable which will play on the small screen and T.V. above. I am really happy with it.

Well, got the slide out rack moved from the ceiling and down to the floor so it makes it even easier to load the lawn chairs with the rack being able to come partially out either side of the basement. A little more organized with the plastic troughs being removed and a plywood bottom and alum ends used to replace them. Big advantage is it is deeper, longer, wider and has square corners.

Carried her in to the dealer for some TLC. Had an extensive list of things, most of which were just downright "picky".

The service lady was fantastic. NOT ONE word about any of the items.

OK, explain this one?

GOT IT, no problem.

Next?

We asked how long. She said:

When do you *want* it?

I gave her what I thought was an unrealistic date.

No problem ma'am, we're ON IT.

She also wrote across the top of the service form:

IN BY APPOINTMENT

I told DH that if we moved a thousand miles away tomorrow and decided to buy another RV, I'd come RIGHT back to Bayou Outdoor Super Center in Bossier City/Shreveport, LA to buy it.

These people simply cannot be beat.

I saw your post and said:

OC's been modifying his 5er again!

DH got up and came across the great room and snagged my puter.

Took it over, he did! HAD to see your pics.

Mine does, but I use a purple hose for the black tank flush system.
It is only hooked up when I flush the tank with no filter or pressure regulator, I figure more water/pressure = more cleaning power.

Looks good you old goat, told ya to come camping with me, but you just can't sit still. How do you sleep at night with a mind like yours? I never would have even thought of that. I know you asked if I wanted to cover that area when I was at your house, but didn't picture that. Great job as always.....

They close at noon on Saturdays. We hit 'em up today.

10' roll of eternabond (just in case) and he knocked .50 per foot off the price
1 replacement filter cartridge
2 packs of awning light clips
an extention pole...for washing....extends to 25 FEET!
2 packs of RV TP (gonna try the shaken-not-stirred test and that may be my last purchase of that stuff)

We looked HARD, and couldn't find anything else to buy!

Oh, and we got another 10% off the total price.

We are camping so today's work consisted of researching bug zippers. Anyone use them? Also organised the basement again, things went in pretty quick during the pouring rain at the last campground.

Anybody need or want a couple of basement plastic troughs. Pay shipping or come by and they're yours. I'll never put them back in.

p.s. I'll even clean them up.

Rockwood sent me the wrong replacement ladder and doesn't want it back. So... I'm gonna try to trade it for something I can use. Still in bubble wrap. Jeff in parts is a great guy.

OldCoot. Did you add those lift cylinders to your basement doors? Does it hold them up close to wall?

If it's been a while since you've seen Jeff you're in for a shock! He's lost a ton of weight, and if the last time you saw him was when he had long hair... ....he shaved his head this morning!

Added 2 cylinders to each of the 3 storage doors (2 basement & front) and yes, they hold them up quite well.
