Installed new Camco vent covers on fore and aft vents. While I was up there, I noticed a gap in the Dicor on the forward edge:
I really dislike Dicor, so I think I will clean the front and rear roof seams and Eternabond over it. Any got an opinion on that?

I had to put mine in the shop for some warranty. Awning motor, led light had blown lights, power connector on tt light was not functioning, and a few other minor issues. They had all the parts and suppose to have it back next weekend

I weighed mine. Looks like we're overweight as suspected. Under for both axles but over for GVWR.
The GVWR on my truck is 8800lbs. Steer axle weighs 4360 and Drive axle is 4600. The ratings are 5200 steer and 6084 drive. The camper axles are at 6260 (2x 3500 lbs axles and GVWR or 7805) for a total of 15220lbs.
Only over on the GVWR of my truck by 160, but we were short 2 people and 2 dogs.
The 8800 lbs rating us strictly a legal number though since I have the same spring packs as an F-350 but I have the smaller 2" rear block.
I'm not concerned.

Added a walkway to the side of our RV Pad at the house...a "Patio" is in progress to be finished over the next few days THEN we will actually have the space to install OC's Awning poles (which had the 4th coat of clear coat put on time tonight after being painted a matching brown to match the 5er (6 Actual's mandate )

Redwolf, I just did that to mine last weekend. I actually did the entire roof with eternabond including the front and rear seams. For the most part, I was able to scrape all the old dicor lap sealant off. The front and rear seems however, I couldn't really get much off so I went over it. On the rear, I had to use two 4" wide strips and on the front, I was able to cover it with one. I did use the dicor with a thin bead across the leading edge as I red somewhere it helps keep it cleaner but, it was down well regardless.
Follow the directions closely and the stuff is awesome, however it does stick to EVERYTHING so make sure you are careful when working with it.
It won't stick to silicone but, everything else, look out.

I had a small soft spot in the bathroom floor. I decided to go over all the vinyl with wood look alike strips that I purchased at the big blue box store. I had to repair the damaged part of the floor first and then decided to do the entire floor throughout the camper except for the living area. I even ripped up the bedroom carpeting and put it down in there. I contemplated putting newer carpet in there but, decided I would put this product down and can easily go over it if we don't like it after a few trips.
I was amazed at how different just redoing the floor looks. It was a little tricky to keep straight and make tight cuts was pretty important but, the product overall was easy to use and it looks great.
It took me almost two whole days to put down but, I did have the two little ones in and out with me so I probably could have cut that down a little bit.

I put a maxxair vent cover on the vent in the bunkhouse, and also added some Dicor that was needed at a seem on the front cap.

We bought a roll of eternabond at our dealer's store a few weeks ago. He let us choose how many feet we wanted and he cut it off a huge roll.
He advised putting some wax paper over the ends of the roll because (quote) If I laid this roll with the edges down on that glass counter top I'd have to break the glass to get it unstuck.
The CC badge had come out of DH's golf divot tool. He cut off a tiny corner of that tape to restick it. Uhhh, it's in there permanently now.

Took her camping and I learned a few things.
1. Don't screw with your hookup routine. I did find out that my truck will stop the show on it's own easily. Seems some idiot managed to skip that plugging in bit. You know, the cord that runs lights, charges batteries, relays electricity to run the brakes. Yeah, that.
2. That apparently my left rear window leaks when you tow in a rainstorm. It's been little things, that will need to be tended to.
3. That I really needed a weekend away.

Actually did this yesterday....
Installed 2 hooks, one on each side of the tongue, so I had a a place to hang my safety chains. Made sure the hooks were high enough to not be in the way of the Equal-I-zer spring bars.

Looks good! On my old TT I hung the from the propane tank mount. In between the two tanks was an area to hook em on. I would have to raise up the lid an inch or two so I could see but this looks easier.

I bought a roll 8 years ago to seal the slide out seams on my then-brand-new travel trailer. I'm hoping the rest of the roll is still good. It's sat inside on my office shelf since then.
Thanks for the input, Flagstaffer!

Today I completely over-thought a central vacuum issue; it had no suction. I moved the table and 2 chairs so that I could get to the canister and saw that the cap/"top" wasn't on. We were on some rough roads, I guess it wiggled and jiggled off - not sure on that front yet. I thought that cap was just so that I could access the bag that catches the dirt and stuff. It didn't dawn on me until much later that it was a critical piece to suction.
Yes, I emptied 1/2 of my basement, took down the access panel to the crawl space, crawled into the crawl space, disconnected both ends of the hose from the wall connection to vac, removed the vacuum itself and tested it a variety of ways with my daughter inside the camper before the simplicity of my problem dawned on me.
That was a fun 40 minutes in the hot weather at 8 in the morning. On the bright side, I got to experience the joys that is boob sweat.

First night of the inaugural run. Drove from Ottawa Ontario to Edmunston, New Brunswick. Only hick up was the kitchen sink traps were not tight and leaked all over the floor when finished doing dishes. Truck performed like a champ and 5er towed like a dream.
On to Halifax tomorrow.

First family outing in the NTU Surveyor Select 305SV to the beach!
Been doing a lot of little things. - Bottle opener in the outside kitchen
- used a trailer pin to keep the mini stove tracks from sliding in while cooking
- picked up a collapsible wagon (omg, how did we get along without one of these!)
- installed a safe
- Regiggered the coax to antenna to get that working right
- ordered another pile of stuff I found we needed
