Just an observation checking out all your mods, suppling so many with awning brackets and polls and things you don't even mention.

I ordered the Reese specified wedge for our hitch this week. Sneak installed it yesterday torqued it to specs and did the wedge pull test as advised by OC today.

MUCH better fit!

Lookin' forward for draggin' er west bound on Friday! (not lookin' forward to the RVers' Gauntlet from Hades going thru Bossier and S'port though!)

It's been way too long (Memorial Day) and it's past time to scratch our hitch itch!

She's buffed, puffed and fluffed, a whole list of small warranty issues fixed, and rarin' to go! I re-loaded the fridge today too.

Also gettin' new shoes for 'er before we leave town Friday.

(wmtire.....answer your phone)

I'll breathe a lot easier. A set of china bombs with less than 500 miles on 'em are coming OFF. Anybody need some trot line sinkers?

So what's the consensus...what is the best RV tire out there?

Today I reorganized the basement and front storage. Removed all the chairs and tables from the front storage. Now live in the basement along with a new portable 8 by 8 canopy and additional recliner chair. In the front mounted 3 plastic hose hanger for all the hose (i have 200 ft), electrical cables, satellite harness. Tool box and sockets in front as well spare parts bin. Built a shelf for the door side to house the grill, stove, other small items like axe, saw, hatchet, rake and broom. Washed the rig getting ready for Goshen.

Pulled home from weekend trip and broke our antenna on my own street from neighbors trees hanging down around 8' above the street! ordered a new antenna and some other stuff, then found one of our couch pull out drawers is broke, again.... Sheeesh. Trying to get everything ready for one last extended trip next week. Plenty of tinkering to do

I replaced the 30 amp fuse between my battery and my front jack motor. I guess the rig got tired retracting the legs (to lower the pin box) and blew said fuse.

What did I do to my camper today? I hard wired a 50 amp TRC surge protector in my 5er to be out of sight. Installed a JAFA TECH WIFI booster for the internet. Now I can park in the far corner of the fairgrounds and have some internet this year.

I am in need of a jack knife sofa. I want to try to turn my slide out of my 25' puma 5er into a bunk area. My plan is to have a jack knife sofa on bottom with storage underneath and a twin fold up bed on top. Any ideas or suggestions. Has anyone done this before?

We bought a new rear living 25' 5er in 06 thinking we would have time to grow into it once we had kids. We'll we adopted 3 siblings at once so pretty much over night the camper was to small. We want to save up to buy another one in a year or two so I figured this would get us by for now

I greased the wheel bearings with ez lube. Bought inexpensive wire shelf that fits the inside of the front closet for more storage space. Next project Satellite mount and 12 v power at rear for dish power.

I greased the wheel bearings with ez lube. Also hit the two zerk fittings on the top of the landing gear with a couple of pumps of grease. Rebuilt/replaced ladder and trim in Grey Wolf 26DBH

One of the neighbors' kids pulled the bunk ladder out slightly before I extended the slide out. I only caught the issue when it was half extended. Broke the ladder in half and messed up the trim work.

So, I took the opportunity to build it better - nicer solid wood trim with stain and a new ladder. Likely stronger than the original. I knew to check for things before pulling the slide out in, but this is a reminder to check just as well when extending it. But, this is what I did to my camper today!

The DW likes it much better, so I'm pleased with that
