Visited General RV in Birch Run. Wow looks like there are 200 plus units in stock! Bought an Oxygenics shower head and a safety step. With the new lift kit the stairs are too high on some sites.

Also bought a 2 ft 30 amp extension to use as a sacrificial lamb for worn out park power plugs. I won't burn up my surge suppressor plug now.

After HOURS of tedious education and experimentation, I finally got my DIRECTV system set up. Now I'm receiving HD programming on both TVs in the trailer. DW thinks I'm smart. However, the deciding factor for my success is that I'm too cheap to have thrown the entire antenna system into the North Fork of the Red River.

As soon as the sun comes up I am winterizing, giving it a good cleaning and putting it to sleep for the winter. Blowing out the lines with compressed air this year.

Going to change the oil in the Tundra today and give it a good going over including a bath. DW decided on Memphis, departure will be either Tomorrow or Monday morning. Had both dogs to the vet yesterday, they are cleared for travel. Going to be 90º here today, ready to find cooler temperatures.

Just brought her back from the dealers after having had the kitchen counter top replaced, the grey water tank drain valves replaced and the crack in floor/lower side wall of the shower repaired. Next week, remove the batteries and then pay a visit every month to check on it while in storage.

Absolutely nothing, I think I have finally reached the point that there is nothing left to do on this "strictly stock" 12 Flagstaff 8528RKWS except load perishables in the frig and hook up 28Nov for FL.

You have over a month before you hook up for your trip to Florida. I'm sure you'll find something to do to that "stock" Flagstaff.

Have a great winter in Florida, might see you in Jan or Feb. Have a safe trip and watch out for the mountains between NC and Florida that I/2 ton might not make it....

Nuttin worth bragging about...installed p-towel holder and mounted a towel bar/coat hook in bath, checked out new rug in front of stove/fridge/cabinet, poured in "anti-stinky" grey tank stuff, built a supply list to install "whole house" water filer and did a little cleaning.

Finished loading clothes and misc pet supplies. Turned on the propane, got the fridg turned on, should be ready to load fridg in the morning and hook and book down the road. Headed for Memphis and Graceland. May spend a day or two in Little Rock AR area. Planing a two week trip, maybe longer.
