I looked at those, thought it was a nice add-on. How do you pull the wire to where you want it? Or maybe the one you got was wireless?

Screen protector

Saw this mod on forum, so easy.... Measure screen door opening, go to Ace Hardware, have them cut 1/8 " thick sheet to door panel size. Mine with over lap was 22-1/4" x 27-1/2". bought 5' roll of Velcro tape, and adhered it to top and bottom. No more cardboard and tape. Pooch can see out too.

Yes, the one I have is wireless. The outside sensor uses 4 AA batteries. The inside display uses 3 AA batteries and also uses AC.

Here's a summary, more or less of some of the add ons I've made so far to this little RV.

That's a good looking little co pilot you got there. But, can you explain to me the purpose of the screen add on. sorry I'm a little slow. Does it go over the existing screen door? Looks good, just not sure how to use it.

Only problem with storing the hose in the bumper is the bumper will eat holes in the hose. If you're going to store it in there, get a pc of pvc gutter and insert it first to put the hose on.

The pooch jumps up on screen to be let out. Protects it from damage.

Yes, it probably will eventually. It also tends to rust out the bumper faster as they are paper thin. It's very convenient however.

I eventually want to put a rack back there to put more "stuff" in.

When we ordered our camper earlier this year we added the second A/C option in the bedroom, the unit we looked at did not have it so I was not aware it was a stand alone unit with the controls mounted directly to it similar to an unducted A/C instead of the wall mounted thermostat.
Disapointed in it's performance and also wanting the aux heat I purchased the dometic single zone LCD thermostat kit that also controls the heat strip and the heat strip kit. Fairly easy install *except* for running the control and power wire from wall, across ceiling and into the new control module.
Total spend on parts <$200 and about 4 hrs time.
Now I have electric heat built in instead of using table top heater, we like the noise the fan makes anyway so it is always running at night.

How do you like that heat strip and what KW is it? Been looking at them but Knowing I would have to pull a wire through the ceiling to the stat has stopped me? Nice mod.

I brought it home from the dealer for christmas. Downsized from a 2009 Montana to a 2015 FR Salem 27RKSS. Even got a check from the dealer, I like that. Happy to be in a smaller camper since I am not fulltiming any more.

Keeps the dogs from tearing through the screen and the can see out. We had to do this because our 100lb Labrador pushes our screen door open at the house so naturaly walked through our camper screen door with ease.
