What did you do to your camper today?

Added JT Strong Arms to the trailer. The difference is absolutely amazing! No more getting rolled out of bed when the kids are up too early on the weekends.

We also put the Igloo Icemaker in the outside kitchen and replaced the crap outside kitchen faucet with a small gooseneck bar sink faucet.

Next up, BAL Hide-A-Spare and the fencepost/gutter mod for the stinky slinky. That will be on the list for next month...

We purchased a used 5th wheel and have been working on it nonstop since. Mods that is, so here's the list :
1:removed the closet doors and a few cabinet doors ( especially the ones that the "engineer" decided to hide the light switch behind)
2: put in a regular refrigerator.
C:installed a central vac.
4: put in a Gerard on demand hot water heater.
5: put in the plumbing and drain for the washer and dryer
F: cut a 4 1/2 inch hole in the side of a perfectly good trailer "nerve racking ".
7: put in said washer and dryer
8: built some custom shelving.
I: installed JT Strong arms ( already been said, but what a different).
10: put in real round wood closet rods.
11: towel rack in the bathroom.
L: ordered 20 led lights and 4 rolls of led strip lights
13: pipe wrapped the outside kitchen water lines
14: built a slide out drawer for the end of the couch cubbyhole

We are full timers with a 3yr old grandson that now has his own room at grandmas house

Started to install my Ubiquiti Bullet on the antenna mast. Now, to decide on the wire routing. Take off the access cover and run it with the coax to the antenna, or sneak it through the refrigerator hood vent.

Well,

Over the weekend. I skid steer, 12 yards of chat, 1 new expandable electric panel, 50 amp box, and 25 hours added to said bobcat.

I cleared 8 stumps, removed about 10 junipers, moved about 200 30-200 lb rocks...and just like that I have a full hook up at the house. I don't know why I waited so long to do it.

Bought a new electric tounge jack. Its a little bit of an over kill (3500 lbs) for my little trailer, (19 ft) but I like it. Waiting for the time and weather to install.

I installed JT Strongarms last fall and I had to move the battery box & spare tire mount. Finally got around to finish the job by making a new mount for spare tire under the frame. Now I'm ready to travel again.

Installed 2 five inch plastic fence posts under my 5er. That will give me a spot for my rug and sewer hose.

This also meant I got to fire up the Chevy thats been in the garage for the past 2 months and take her for a drive. Forgot how much I love driving that truck!

As a person who does most all his own repairs that comment is for "engineers " the loose term used for a person that is suppose to know a little about what it is they are designing. The term was stolen from the railway. An engineer is the person in charge of a train, not a collage degree holding designer of products. Hence the term "engineers should stick to driving trains" , cuz that's what they do , not design things. Plus we all know a train engineer is smart enough not to put the light switch in a closet with a door. That's like putting the car headlight switch in the trunk or back seat.

I paid my $500 deductible to replace the entire rubber roof membrane due to the DW who jammed it against a tree and we tore a 1/8" hole in it. Not recommended
