What did you do to your camper today?

Sanitized the freshwater tank on the trailer and found a little issue.... Today is the first time I completely filled the tank since I bought the trailer. Most I've ever had in it was 2/3 according to the panel. Well I have a leak somewhere high on the tank... Why I say that is that I can hear a drip and see a drip coming from the belly opening.... If I drain the tank for 15-30 seconds the drip goes away. So I know that they can't blame me for not draining for the winter. It just sucks to have an issue like that on a new trailer.

Any thoughts on this?

Brought it home to put stuff back into it- it was empty for its winter-time warranty work. I'm ready to get that crap out of my house!

It could be at the fill line where connected to the tank came loose or wasn't sealed at the factory.

Finished prep work and load for our maiden trip. Also got our windshield cover back from Zat Graphics, who put our "camper logo" on it for us...

Today, the first day of Spring, IT IS BEING SNOWED ON....AGAIN. UGH.
Ended up with 4.5" of snow on Friday, but it hit 56 degrees yesterday and we had a nearly complete melt! Just got the camper situated in the driveway and blocked and leveled, opened the slides, and having breakfast with DW in it as I type. Going to hang the warranty replacement bedroom sliding door today and some storage mods. Still going to be too cold to de-winterize for another week it looks like.

At least it's getting closer to ---->

That was my thought and I hope. I have a big trip in 27 days. The dealer is going to have yo bust their butts on getting it fixed.

Brought our TT home yesterday from storage. Did a quick inspection and found a few minor issues with the slide out rubber seal and calk around a few windows.

Ordered Rubber D-Seal --AP Products 018-312-EKD Black 1" x 15/16" x 35' from Amazon and will make a trip to the RV store for a couple of tubes of Proflex TV flexible sealant bright white.

Guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend.

Washed and detailed the Puma, sanitized the water system and worked on getting it ready for our second trip this year. Bought a new portable table top propane grill.

Put the batteries back in, after being the garage for the winter on a battery tender.. Did a quick resistive load test on them and they are still in tip top shape..
Filled up the propane tanks...
Sprayed the slide gears, corner jacks, and stairs..
Retorqued all the wheels..
Checked tire air pressure..
Added some grease to the auto lubers, but couldn't jack it up to spin.. Will tackle that another day..
Kicked the slide out and started putting some stuff back on the shelves..
Opened a window and roof vent to start airing it out..
Fixed a piece of trim by one of the bunk beds that had fallen off late last year..
Scoped out a local campground and found all the sites still have 8-10" of snow in them...
Enjoyed a cold one and thought about where to go for our first trip of the year!

Even though today was 20 degrees and freezing put the heat on and did a spring clean up. Had some mouse entry mess, not too bad. I found several holes and filled them up with expanding foam. DW and I vacuumed, we sent all the dishes and pots etc. through the dishwasher for the start of season trip right after Easter. Wednesday suppose to to be 55 so I plan on taking the day off work and get the trailer all washed up and maybe the hubs lubed as well.

Added bed lift cylinders. Can't understand why FR didn't install them to start with on my 2015 Coachmen.

Finished removing the stickers from the RV. The only stickers left are the three that identify the fresh water, black tank sprayer and the winterizing ports. Without that ID someone may hook up to the wrong one. Also the RVIA sticker is still there, not sure why I left that one. The Reese Revolution pin box sticker is still there. Must have been 30 stickers I removed from our unit. Sanitized the water system, will flush it out tomorrow. A good cleanup and roof, wheel and tire inspection and she will be ready to roll

We....went camping!!

Still, we Cleaned the inside and was going to use the waterless wash but Mother Nature interfered with a persistent rain storm 😰

So...

We went inside, watched a movie and had an adult beverage 😜

I called the owner of our new to us camper and told him we're ready for delivery! Now that the snowbanks at the end of our driveway are gone, he can turn in. He said maybe Wednesday!!! I am sooooooooo excited, so I've been on amazon shopping away, putting things on my wish list. Oh...and I am making our campsite sign tonight. I can hardly sleep at night thinking about our new digs!

Got my SAM-1-81 Range Hood Up-Grade Kit just a few minutes ago, so will remove the range hood tomorrow morning and make the mod and re-install. According to email from Fabulous Operating Products I don't have to change out the outside vent if I just remove the door which I will very gladly do. The kit has an inside vent shut off. It also has a unique feature that if you remove the washable filter, the fan will not run. Anxious to see how the dual control for the light and the 3 speed squirrel cage fan works and how much quieter it is.

Well it's been going on for a couple of weeks but here is what I have done since I got the new trailer. Added a few new outlets and swapped some for the usb/plug outlets. Hooked tv up to radios aux input via digital to analog converter. Added the heat strip to a/c unit with new control box and thermostat. New furrion input and ems. New towel racks, ring and dometic 310 in bathroom. That's it for now, waiting on a new hatch door where the power cord was. Going to make that my sewer hose cubby and have a 12v dc to 5v converter coming to hardwire my weather station. Michael
