Just installed a battery disconnect in the nose compartment of my VLite. Out of the weather and away from wandering eyes and fingers. I also moved my Tire Minder booster here too.

Also had ordered 30 of the LED bulbs a previous poster had bought from Amazon. I replaced 25 interior in all. I checked my amp usage(by my PI surge protector) with all the bulbs I was going to replace turned on. 13 amps were being drawn. My battery was fully charged so the converter was drawing very little power, if any. After replacing, the display read 2 amps! Took me about an hour to change all of them out.

I installed two strips of Waterproof Flexible LED Strips. One under the awning along side the factory blue led strip and one above the slide out also along side the factory blue led strip. I also installed two single pole double throw switches one for inside and one for out. I mounted the switches onto the black plastic cover the wires are routed through from the factory. Using the factory hole in the trailer under the black piece of plastic for the body of the switch to reside in.
It will take a ladder or a stick to flip the outside switch...not that I will go blue...

I have them both set for white now but can if I ever feel the need, switch them back to blue at the flick of a switch.

Blue....guess rv designers never get speeding tickets....

The dealer said the blue keeps bugs away. The last bug zapper I had was a blue light...called a black light. Designed to attract.

Nevertheless I don't care much for the blue and amazon has the white for cheap.
You can cut after every third bulb. Both of my applications are less than 16 feet
so other than soldering on a ladder....a simple installation.

That's a better design with the hook instead of the 90 degree on the bottom. Nice job, swear I thought I had it tight but remember our great interstate system. Been lucky still have my head. Maybe empty but still a casing. You did good....

Connects to the awning tube and prevents it from unrolling while traveling.

Took a female Bargman connector and wired a toggle switch and fuse to connect the battery + to the running light terminal Sealed it all and attached it to my battery box. Now when I unhook cord from TV I just plug it in and it is protected and off ground. Also at night I just throw the switch and my clearance lights come on for a nice glow.

Do power awnings unroll often ? Where does the top of the bracket attach ? So much to learn

Mine is attached to the motor end of the awning by drilling and taping a 3/8-16 ss bolt and ss nylock nut, but I came up with a design that does not require drilling the end cap. It just slips into the sunshade grove and slides all the way to the motor end.

Got my (2) 50' flat fw hoses and found out I could wind a 50' flat hose on the electric rewind reel. So I ended up with 125' of hose stored in less space than (2) regular hoses.
Top picture is original, 2nd is the 25' flat hose on electric rewind, 3rd is 50' on elec. reel and 25' and 50' on reels
4 picture is driverside basement packed and ready to go.

Installed a volt meter behind the plastic on my panel. Only thing it's a .1 reading off. Measured with a digital meter shows 12.7 new read out shows 12.6, but what do you expect for $5.00 bucks on Amazon. After sitting for 24 hours. I have 2- 12 volt batteries installed so at least I know one is good......

DROK® Ultra-small 2 Wires Voltmeter Guage White LED 0.36" DC 3.0~30V Digital Volt Meter Motorcycle Car Battery Tester 5/12V DC Voltage Check Detector. I think they went up to 6.95, Connected the plus and minus with a flat spade connector to the plus and minus of the board where the main battery ties into the board added 10" of wire so it will not interfere with opening the door, then used super glue to attach to the bottom to the window frame only. It is as thick as the window frame so it won't hit anything. Took about a half hr. to do, being I kept running for tools back and forth. It really reads great through that plastic. It is about the same size as the recess of the glass so it has plenty of space from my fuse block ran the wire up the side of the board....
