I'm pretty sure our shower controls are upside down. Do you have a picture of what the should look like? My shower hose comes out of the top of the assembly. Shouldn't it come out of the bottom? I was thinking that the knobs turn in the wrong direction..is that why?

I thought that was what your were going to use from the get go. I've never seen black pool noodles, and I used to work where this pipe insulation is made so we have lots of it. Just figured that's what you meant so I didn't mention it as an option.

Did you intend to add this post to the " What did you do to your camper today?" topic?
We are camped across the highway from the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site. We have made a heap of pictures of beautiful wildflowers - some on the Willow City Loop.

Taking mine to the dealer today to get drawers repaired and a ladder installed. Missed our last camping trip, my son ended up in the hospital with a ruptured appendix.
My car hauler is also at the shop getting the door repaired, the driveway will be empty for a week or so.

Pulled her out of storage yesterday and had 4 new Goodyear Marathons put on in preparation for our longest trip this summer at myrtle beach. Also dropped her off at the dealer for inspection and have the bearings repacked.
Sorry for the big finger in the way of the second photo

Looks good, and familiar
I can adjust the readout on mine via a small dial on the back of the circuit board. Does yours happen to have that? I did have to adjust mine to match the readout of my handheld meter.

got 5er back from shop, but surge guard SHOT
We have put over 8000 miles on the year since we bought it in Oct, 2014.
Had the local deal repack the wheel bearings, and fix a couple minor warranty issues.
Got back to camp, plugged in power cord with surge guard and no 120VAC.
The Surge Guard showed output, but no power in trailer.
pulled it out of line, plugged power cord into pedestal, all is good.
Any thoughts about what next? No real access to see inside.
Guess we will call the manufacturer on Monday.

Well began to dewinterize and test all features and functions when I noticed the cracked housing on the toilet valve. .... ordered a new one for Monday (thank you amazon prime). It's the valve in the first picture, probably didn't get all the water out for winter, oh well.... now sitting in the driveway testing out all the other features. .. like the tv , movies and a nice refrigerated drink

Sparky I'd like to be able to help you with your problem but I am not familiar with the Surge Guard.
Is this the one that is about the size as a loaf of bread?
Does it have a reset button or is there a code that says the SG needs replacing?
It could be sensing something is miswired in the pedestal and is keeping power from coming thru to damage your rig and the appliances.
Do you know for sure the pedestal is wired correctly?

Installed the Rear View Safety wireless camera system to the back of our 2014 CC 38fl. The RV was pre-wired for the Voyager wifi system and already had a plugged, pre cut hole under the center high light. All I had to do was remove the plug from the hole, fish around inside for the connector wire and then cut off the connector socket for the Voyager system. Inside the black cable there are two wires. The unsheathed wire in the negative connection, the clear sheathed wire, the live feed. I simply connected these two wires to the red and black wires from the camera, fed the excess into the space behind the rear end cap, inserted the grommet that was supplied with the camera and then mounted the camera to the underside of the lip that extends outwards below the high level lights.
Once all was connected and secured I just had to pair the camera to the monitor and it worked just great. Of course, the acid test will come when I tow the trailer and can see how the wifi connection holds up. Most appear to need and extension cable to increase the range due to the 41' length of the RV and the height of the front end that can interfere with the signal.
The unit I installed is capable of monitoring four cameras on a quad screen and cost me $400 cnd (ex tax). It include the microphone in the camera and has the option to display the distance grid lines.

Air. I'll do it again too since I use the camper off and on throughout the winter but next time I'll do a better job apparently.

This year I blew out the lines and sucked up 2-3 gallons of AF in the entire system but the AF in the toilet sort of froze a little bit for all the cold weather we had in NJ. This year with the new Roo 2015 I am thinking of blowing all lines putting AF in the drains and tanks and leaving all the faucets open but not putting AF in the lines, does anyone do this?

That's what I did. Again, I will do a much better job of making sure every valve and drain is empty. I guess I forgot to do that one twice.

DH installed a small inverter which had a bad connector on it but were able to see that in it's current storage location, the livingroom tv can still get over 50 channels just from the antenna. Inverter will be returned for another one since it has that faulty connector. He also put in an Oxygenics shower head, helped me put in another storage unit for the scrap cave, installed a tv in the bedroom and worked awhile on the rear JT strongarms. But we had to leave before he finished cos we had a date to babysit the grankids.
