Had to move the breakaway switch and get a new negative battery cable because the original one was too short once everything was moved. All that's left is to take some of old hitch parts off and tighten bolts with torque wrench. Hooked truck up seems to work at distributing weight, no rear sag in the truck. Truth will be when we go on our first trip this summer.

Swapped out the OEM shower nozzle for a oxygenics, much nicer flow...not like home but worth the $45, DW is happy!

Thanks for the link, OC, I didn't like the stream of water wasting either-I bought one. Hope it gets here in time for our next trip!

I am thinking of getting the Anderson seems to work and people seem happy. Heard and read good things only bad is the sleeve the ball sits in wears out early but lifetime warranty, can't beat that.

Interested in how it works and where did you order it from?

I got mine through Amazon I like to over kill also so I ordered the one for 1400 lb tongue weight and 14000 lb trailer it was only $30 more and a few lbs heavier but still lighter than the old spring bar set up.

Just wondering if you had some obstruction for the frame brackets? It looks like you have a LOT of threads showing compared to the typical install.

I highly recommend checking the dealers on eBay that offer "Make an Offer". I paid $410 for mine using that method.

dewinterized over the weekend and remembered the gas alarm thing needs replaced, gonna put a camco water heater element in our gas only water heater and the city water connection got yanked on a couple of years back and you gotta hold your mouth just so or else it leaks so got an all brass one of them.

Looking forward to hot water all the time this year.

Yes. Please see the message in Classifieds, I think the rules restrict me from giving more info in this part of the forum. Message is "Moved from TT to 5th Wheel"

Turns. All the buttons are acting funny you press one button and some other fiction will happen. Some times the power will not work

I think he is doing with his like I did with mine, just looking at it.

I figured it could be something useful so I started pushing buttons until something happened. Still don't know how to operate it properly and since we don't use it much, I forget what I did the 1st time to make it work. Just keep working with it and it will be a useful tool, one day.

Naw, really, I use the AV or AU 1/2(can't remember which) to put the audio from the TV to the speakers. Works good. No problems, yet.
