Today going shopping for a flexible arm limit switch. Going to make an alarm for a hard right turn so that when scooter is loaded the trailer doesn't contact its fender....very hard to see even with real tow mirrors....am going to try a hitch location, but with slider we'll see...am thinking slider should repeat to same location on hard turn, but platform mount is also an option. Now, to find switch with a long enough rod to be useful. Grangers list a few, but specs are not clear.

Located the right person to help with ordering correct parts for our unit. Should anyone be interested here is the name and number. Her name was not in the directory I have, I was directed to her by Sheri Dunlap. I did get a very quick response from both Sheri and Crystal. Parts are ordered.

We usually learn after our first mistake but there is always one that doesn't.

Didn't ask. I'll see how it looks after everything is adjusted and go from there.

What about using a Alarm switch? Magnet and switch? This could be mounted easily off the pin box with plexi.

I think most people who don't learn the first time also don't admit it the second time!

Yeah, it's been a mess of a start. Still not actually on the road yet! But as long as I make it before 23:59:59, I'm calling it a win.

What did you do about the car?

It's getting washed and cleaned out now. We'll pickup some fuel stabilizer on the way to the storage lot and dump it in. Then I'll top up the tires to 10% over max psi. I'll disconnect the batter.my. And finally, I'll cover it.

I'm not going to do steel wool as a buddy may drive it periodically and I assume the battery and cover will be enough of a hassle.

In-laws don't want it.

I performed a magic trick and made my stinky slinky fence post disappear. First pic is just the end caps painted black. Didn't quite do it, so the 2nd pic is the whole thing painted black.

The subject does not respond to repeated stimuli..........

Completely seems like something I'd do, checking to see how that happened the first time.

Nice job, but why do you have it opening on the front of the camper? Isn't the drain pipe in the back of the camper?

I could have mounted it in the back under the frame, but unfortunately, the gray and black piping at the back is in just the wrong place, meaning I wouldn't be able to slide the gutter out from the street side. I could have put it just in front of the axles, but then I couldn't get to it with the slide open without having to go under the slide. So with either of those places, I'd end up having to get to it from the curb side, which I don't really want to do. So it's just in front of the slide.

We don't use the TV opening in the bedroom so I modded it for more storage. Cabinet doors and hardware came from FR dealer. $72 shipped. Installed two shelves. Works great!

A couple of weeks ago I replaced all the interior bulbs with LEDs. I went with these.
Amazon.com: GRV T10 921 194 13-5050 SMD Wedge LED Bulb lamp Super Bright Warm White DC 12V Pack of 10: Automotive
They worked great. No more melted lights when the kids leave them on.
I also replaced the porch light and the light on the front with these.
Amazon.com: N.R.G 1141 1156 1003 BA15S Base 27 LED Omni-Directional Light Bulb 10-30v - 12v or 24v - 405 Lumens - Cool White: Automotive

Put on a quick disconnect on the new grill. Got a 50 to 30 so I can use my 30 ft 30 amp cord instead of always using to 50 amp. 30 sure is a lot easier to handle.

Went to pick up my camper from some warranty service but found out that they still haven't fixed it correctly. SO I went shopping for new toys and a new camper.....Still haven't found a light weight 5th wheel I like yet.
