Due to my crazy work schedule, we saw that I am off work Tues-Sun of next week so totally lucked out by finding a spot open up at St. Vrain Colorado State Park.

Not the best of sites there and only has electricity (50 amp) but there's a dump station close.

But a lousy day camping beats the best day at work!!!

This will be our longest non-full hookup (4-nights/5-days) so we'll have to test our Navy Shower skills! (Or use the coin-operated shower facility!)

Seriously, coin operated showers? I'd be bringing my bucket to catch the water and use it on my rinse down. ...or run the water into a bucket while getting to showering temperature, and then using the bucket water to flush the toilets.

Belated annual waxing

I did I full interior and exterior detail, roof and awning scrub, and exterior wax over the period of two very hot and humid days. Why I didn't do it back in the spring is beyond me.

Spent $1K replacing a dometic ac that's still under warranty. Had I waited for dometic to approve the work, we would have to cancel the vacation trip that starts tomorrow. I "should" get some money back. We'll see.

Replaced the Coleman Mach with a Honeywell RTH111 digital t-stat. Added a SPDT switch for fan speed. Had to do some plastic removal inside to allow for the wiring to the switch. (I eventually had to remove more than shown in the pic; al the way to end of the gas/oil/heat pump switch slot.) I've also included a pic of the wiring if anyone else is considering it.

Nothing to the camper, but have to add a switch to the 2 computer fans I mounted over TOWTA's side of the bed and add 2 waterproof voltage monitors I just got. Might start tomorrow when it's cooler and then again may just wait until cooler weather in Sept or Oct.

What voltage monitors did you go with? Are mounting them outside? I'm always looking at options.

As for me I opened up the Wildcat to let out some of the heat. Due for a wash again but that will wait.
