This is why I have kids. My 16 yo son gets the crapper duty. Fills, hauls it and empties it while I sit enjoying the lake.

Letsee..found some old..(and I do mean old) copper braid about 1" wide by 20" long from an old antenna project about a hunnert years ago, and after finding the rosin core solder, I "tinned" it in strategic locations, drilled correctly sized holes and used it as bonding cables to tie my batteries together.
Then I found some square dense foam that came out of some old...(and I do mean old) army cannon crates, and cut it to fit adjacent to the front level up cylinders where there was a huge gap. Gotta keep them rats they call mice around here out of the new digs. A little spray foam took care of the remaining cracks.
Then, I climbed my big butt up the ladder and washed the roof...whewww!
Then loaded up and went to a birthday party.

[QUOTE=jtownstumpjumper;934084]Added the TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitoring System to the Silverback 33RL.....any extra safety measures I can take makes for a more stressful ride up and down these highways.....had a couple questions, called the company, and found a most helpful customer service gentleman that I've had the pleasure of talking to in a long time.[/QUOT

Follow-up to above post.....

BTW....that should say "less stressful", not "more stressful"

Now to my point....

This companies customer service is hard to beat....I had bought from Amazon a 6 sensor kit.....I did not buy the repeater device to boost the signal(another $70) and many have had to due to length.....I had put 4 on the 5th wheel tires.....in talking with Mike with TST he suggested I put one of the extra sensors on my spare.....then return to him the 6th sensor and in return he's sending me the $70 repeater because he feels I'm probably going to need it....even exchange...can't beat that deal....he said just spread the word about their TPMS.....

Did you get the flow-through or non-flow units?
How well did they fit your wheels? Did you need extensions?

I got the flow-thru sensors....Had no problems with them fitting the valve stems and wheels on our 5th wheel....did not add extensions...I would like to change out when I have time to metal valve stems but we're headed out on a trip and I couldn't find time to get into my tire store for them to do it.....will find out tomorrow as we take it down that RV highway for the first time with the TPMS installed.

What did you do to your camper today?

Jacked my prolapsed fresh water tank back into place and shored it up hoping to make it to Goshen without incident. FR warranty told me how to do it... said they would fix it for me at the rally.

Mine fell out three weeks ago. Luckily I was still at home getting ready to leave in the morning. Bent the cheap arse L brackets. Removed the tank and stored it in our shed. Taking the fiver to the dealer Saturday and they said they will rebuild with bigger brackets and straps

DW sewed velcro on our PUGS and we tested to see if the bunks could be folded up with the PUGS left on. It worked! In fact we tested them several times and I even checked around the bunk ends to see if anything was pinching or binding and found nothing of concern. I'm thinking this will save us about 15 - 20 minutes on setup and tear down on future camping trips.

Just to relate my experience, I had high pressure valve stems, NOT all steel, with 507 flow thru sensors and they only made the trip from Concord, NC to Goshen and back to within 25 miles of Concord before one started leaking. The rubber stems WILL NOT LAST.

Unfortunately I have no kids or should I say mine have all flown the nest so its my duty. If he is 16 it will be your duty again soon enough.

Thanks StumpJumper and OC. I'd like to get them, as I have a 3000 mile round trip coming up, but really don't want to pull the tires to have metal stems installed, either. Might as well get the built-in units in that case. Hrmmm.

Replaced the crappy hard foam slab they call a mattress in our 2016 310BHDS with a proper mattress (standard queen size). It adds about 4-5" of height but its going to be well worth it!
