After giving it a good wash I gave the front cap a good coat of 303 hand buffing it with micro fiber cloth. Will probably spend a few hours each morning in the cool air giving the rest of it a good waxing.

Just got the Winfield RV cross-brace stabilizers and some x-chocks. Gonna see how well they stabilize together, before considering getting 1 or 2 pairs of BAL lockarms for extra front-back stabilization.
I'll post here with feedback once I've installed them, hopefully next weekend.
Also just got my shopping list together for doing the fence-post sewer hose storage

Cut up a 4x6 treated wood in four equal pieces and attached carrying straps with staple gun, these platforms are for my 4 scissor jacks on my trailer.

The kit gets you two claws, a carrying bag, a cheap hammer, and a pair of crappy straps. I was pressed for time and the extra money for prime shipping was what swayed me. Given if you're normal, don't waste your money on the "kit".
I couldn't get dog tie-downs into the ground here. However, the Claw made it in just fine. It's super secure from what I can tell. I'm looking forward to what it is like to take out and how it takes to getting into different grounds.

A bit more on "The Claw". We had them in the ground and the ratchet straps taut (actually, they were probably a bit over kill). It held without budging at all. The straps didn't slacken any.
Removing the claw from the ground- I followed the instructions and it was easy as pie. No force, no hard work. Definitely slower than dog tie downs since it is 3 "nails" that have to come out at proper angles vs. just unscrewing a dog tie down. But nothing to complain or fuss about.
I did notice once of the nail has a slight bend to it. I'm going to see if I can find replacements/backups at a hardware store or just order some extras from the company who makes the claw.
Based on this one experience- I rate this at a strong buy.

Installed the 8330-3862 digital thermostat from RV Upgrades.com to replace the coleman mach slider thermostat. I now can see where its set and the inside temp of the TT. Took all of 10 minutes to R&R. This one has bare leads. no connectors and so did the other one. Just 6 wire nuts and some electrical tape

I had a set of slide out toppers installed this morning. An Elkhart Parts & Service rep promised them to me at the Goshen rally.
Sent (I think)

Put decorative & functional support chains at each end of the flip down door below the kids TV in the bunk room. That way they can leave the door down while using the PS4 and let it stay cool and yet not worry me that the hinges will snap with the door pulling at the hinges with no support.

I was looking for a suitable digital thermostat, as a replacement for the slider, and this looks like it's probably the right thing. (I'll check the model number and wiring of the current one).
Let us know how it performs, particularly if it changes the hysteresis (delta between switching on and off) compared to the slider, and thus if it maintains temperature any better.

Completed installation of the J T Strongarm Jack Stabilizer Kit on our 2014 Silverback 33 RL fifth wheel.....has probably eliminated 95% of the wiggle and bounce inside the camper....looks like this is going to be a good add-on.

Just curious did you mount your front ones where the front basement is 30" as instructions? Mine will not retract on that measurement. Should have held the tubing up to check. My holes on the front jacks were the opposite of the instructions. Probably the issue. Just wondering if mine was different than most.

Hooked up and got ready to go to Thousand Trails Mocksville for 3 days. Changed out the leg pins on the landing jacks, reinstalled the TST 507 Flow Thru sensors, inflated all 5 tires to 65psi. Only going to check & re-torque lug nuts and check out the new Timken bearings and new seals before heading to FL in late Nov.

What kind of jack did you put under your steps? Do you by chance have a photo?
Thanks for your time.
