What FifthWheel did we see
Not sure if right thread for this but can anyone help us out.
My wife and I were at a RV show couple years back and saw a fifth wheel we really like but can not remember who made it. Was not looking for one back then so didn't bother to write anything down.
Any way, it had a up stairs living with bed in back. But what we really liked is that the stairs going up were on the opposite side from the door. Another thing it had was a railing that separated the kitchen from the up stairs not cabinets.
Might be a far stretch but does anyone know who makes something like this?

Front living room fivers are back again after their last short run back around 2005. They look neat, but are not real practical. Really heqvy pin weights, lack of storage, and older Americans having to climb stairs many many times a day? Just not going to go over.

I may have to differ. Looking at one right now with front living just not the stairs on other side like we like and is 34' with a dry weight of 9167 and pin weight of 1395. I dont think that is a really heavy pin weight. Granted there are some with heavy pins and the one we saw I am sure it was heavier because it was a little bigger I think. I see another one with a 3090 pin, that is heavy but the stairs are not on the other side. Just cant seem to find one with stairs on other side online anywhere like we saw. Maybe its not made right now that way. My wife was just asking me if I remember and I dont. Just wanted to know if anyone knew who all made them.

I get that about dry numbers, but it is a starting point. I think I did find one close. The Riverstone by FR. But, looked at the weight and pin weight. Yeah, not going to happen for weekend getaways. You may be right about the weights. Of course, if the wife likes it, it will cost a lot and weigh a lot. LOL

Is there a site for them, I never heard of them. I google that name and it comes up with dealers. Is there a site I can view their floorplans?

As I recall, Evergreen closed their doors - went out of business.

There are so many brands that have front living room 5th wheels models, it would be nearly impossible to find the one you saw.
You would need to provide WAY more information than it having a living room in the front and a bed in the back.
That pretty much describes all front living room 5th wheel models.

Wife and I saw a Primetime Sanibel with stairs on the opposite side, and railings. But, it had the bedroom in front, not living room.
We really liked the stairs opposite the door.

I will check them out too. Yeah, just seems more space when coming in and out if someone is going up or down stairs. Thanks.

The 2014 Keystone Cougar High Country 337FLS fits your description of the stairs, railing, and time frame.
GOOGLE search, " 2014 Keystone Cougar High Country 337FLS " for images.

Looks to me there are more and more people buying the FL option. I have seen many at every campground we have stayed at the last couple years. My pin weight is no more than my brothers that have the Bedroom up front. They keep a ton of stuff stored in their room and I don't keep anything stored in my living room. And if older Americans are having trouble with the 3 steps to the living room then the 4 taller steps to get in and out of the fifth wheel are really going to discourage them. Everyone has their own opinion and I think the FL will be around for awhile this time.

You found my first one I thought of in the River Stone, I also think Carrige by Cross Roads had one like that but also think they stopped making the Carrige and now only make the Cameo. Good luck on your search.

Same here. That’s the one my wife wants! However, my wallet isn’t fat enough.

The main thing I like about the FL is having a second door in the bedroom. Makes it more convenient and is great for getting out in a fire. Our TT has a door in the bedroom. But, otherwise, I don’t like the layout of the FL. Ceiling is too low in the living room and it feels smaller because the kitchen and living are not one open room. To each his own, however. That is why they make so many different floor plans.
