forget anything other than a popup, R-pod or A-frame trailer.

with only a 3500lbs. tow capacity and only 350lbs. tongue weight, those are about the only thing a Murano can tow safely.
and those capacities are with only a driver in the Murano. anything else in it, people and cargo, reduces the numbers.

Some friends of ours just purchased a Forest River Coachmen Apex 17FB. They plan to tow it with their Dodge Journey. If you google it there are a couple of video's online showing the model.

You're certainly not going to be able to tow much. In addition to what Dan mentioned, you may be able to get away with a Hi-Lo or TrailManor as well. But the Murano is just not a tow vehicle.

Think nothing bigger than a small PopUp. both the Hi-Lo or TrailManor that Ed suggested are small but way to heavey for your Murano. Sorry just the way it is.

I don't think the Hi-Los are manufactured any longer. The small 2720 Trailmanor that I had weighed in around 3500 lbs. ready to camp, so that would probably be out for a Murano also. But.....the new Trailmanor SportDecks are smaller, with just 1 shell to raise, and those puppies weigh in around 1700 to 2100 lbs. empty, compared to the listed weight of my 2720 at 2800 lbs.
