Winter storage

We will be storing our 2604 Emerald Edition trailer for the first time (sadly) this winter. It has the "deep tinted " windows. I was wondering whether to leave the day shades or night shades up or down. Will the dark windows be enough protection. The trailer will be in the sun. Some forums mentioned that the shades can loose their crease if left down.

Have always stored ours with the blinds down...has never affected the creases.....really don't see how it could.

If you have day and night shades only leave only one set down. You can get some condensations between the shades with both down for long periods and I’ve seen mold form between them. If was me I put the night shades down and leave the day shade up to help prevent UV damage.

Are you going to put a cover on it? If so, then it doesn't matter is the blinds are up or down.

Thanks, but no we won't be covering it. We live in an open rural area & worry about the wind. We never covered our last trailer but didn't have blinds. I guess we'll leave them down.

I have let mine down both day and night for 3 years already, never had a problem yet...
