"it seems the smaller the trailer, the harder it is to back straight back(like boat ramps). I can see the end of the travel trailer alot easier and get lined up with the edge of the campsite."


That is ooooo so true John.....shorter trailers react way faster than a longer trailer.
And there is no shame in NOT getting it exactly right the first time. Thats why the truck mfgrs. put forward AND reverse in the trannies.
