Don't know for sure. It did look really sleek. The unit I looked at had 3 20lb bottles. Maybe the extra refilling would be a downer,but I\m sure it can be done with 30 lb bottles.

I've seen this before with 3 20 pound bottles. Their selling point is that your able to go to any exchange station and swap out the "BBQ style" tanks at such places as Home Depot and such.

NO thanks, I will keep my 30 lbers.

I have also seen as an option to have an onboard fixed tank which would require you to have the camper at the filling station since the tank is not removable.

You think the door is small you should see the doors on my windjammer. They are about 2/3 the height of the 30# tanks. I have to tip the tank and pull it through the door. I only hurt the knuckles once. It is a PITA but I prefer the 30# tanks over the 20# that came with the unit. My dealer swapped out the 2 20# for 2 30# at no charge.

Three 20# bottles? How was that configured, two bottles on one side and one on the other?

A couple of years ago we were at a RV show and saw a propane tank on a slideout tray. I don’t remember what brand fifth wheel it was, but it was a high end unit. I remember thinking at the time how nice it would be to have that feature.

A full 30# propane bottle weighs about 55 pounds and at my age, with my back, I don’t relish with task of getting a full bottle back into its cubbyhole.

Maybe Wildcat could offer an optional package with propane slideouts and a battery cutoff switch and call it the Crabby Old Man and Bad Back option. I’m not proud, I’d order it.
