Absolutely! We drove the truck around some of the trails and really enjoyed it. I would have loved to rent a jeep and hire a guide for some more technical driving. I have a buddy back east who I'd love to take out there.

Making good use of multi-tasking, I was able to bust out another blog entry over a 2-hour long conference call and wrote out our time in Pahrump where we explored Death Valley.

Now Or Never - an RV Tale: Exploring Death Valley from Pahrump, NV

Thank you.. I am sadly missing my Jeep. Sold it when I got this newest truck as it was rotting away.. I was not a family car, 5" lift 35" tires, only 2 seat since the back was a full bed tool box.. Oh well, Moab will be another addition to the list. Have not gotten to read the blog, busy at work.

Moab has rentals! Bust up someone else's Jeep than your own.

Forget that.. When I was in AZ I took a jeep tour and occasionally a white Civic would pass us on some of the easier trails... It became the running joke, "It's a rental... IT CAN GO ANYWHERE!"

Seriously though, I would be all for the Jeep rental and touring Moab and going back to the Red Rocks!

Not a tour- a rental. It seems that they literally give you the keys, a pat on the back, and add "lol, have fun".

I wanted to rent a Jeep or ATVs but my wife has back issues and we were afraid of how it would effect that. Plus, I can see my dumbass getting in over my head due to my cocksure stupidity.

So, maybe it's time to change the thread title as we aren't stopping after a year. We found what we expected (and were warned about by veteran fulltimers)- the weekly move schedule was too exhausting but more importantly, we were missing too many awesome sites.

We decided and are finally making it official that the road life is for us. We are filing the papers to become Florida residents and fulltimers for realz.

Congratulations I hope you keep up the blog, I and many others {my guess) find it very cool.

I guess you do not need an actual "home" to be a resident?
