Been to Maine numerous times for our lobster fix, never in a RV, I am considering going this year taking our motorhome, this time I plan on taking Canadian highway up and around into Maine at Fort Kent Maine down to Route 1 and down the coast and come back down 95 to 495 to 90 across to 71 and home. Maine is such a beautiful state.

We stayed at the Bar Harbor KOA. Fresh lobster in the CG in the late afternoon. The free shuttle buses were pet friendly, as were the shops in Bar Harbor. We were a little nervous about our slightly hyperactive Goldendoodle but she behaved very well on the bus and in town. We loved Acadia and Cadillac Mountain also.
