We certainly plan on going next year too. Not much to plan though, we'll be coming from our house.

Goshen 2013

Already on our calendar. Looking forward to it. More now that we got our first snowfall yesterday. Around 2 inches of heavy wet snow weighing down the trees. Should all be gone by this afternoon with above freezing temperatures forecasted over the next week.

We plan on attending also. We would have gone this year, but we were getting ready for a daugher's wedding.

When can we reserve space?

looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Driver39 (DH) and I will be there. That is for sure. Reservations will start after Bob and Cindy get back from their latest Rally.
Welcome to all the newbies going to the Rally.

Planning for Goshen 2013

Not new to camping but certainly new to traveling long distances with the camper. I would like to attend the International Rally but would like some advice on routes to take from Maryland to Goshen and any other tips you may have when it comes to long distance travel? Thanks.

Does everyone expect Forest River to do the same thing for everyone in 2013?
If so I may change my plans.

I had heard that the rally this year was going to bigger and better. How it could be better is beyond me, the rally last year was AWESOME!

I have planned a 2 hop out there. I have yet to decide if we press on to San Diego after the rally or just lick our wounds and go home. A lot depend on DDs schedule and her new job; if she can get off for a week or so we will press on.

I discussed going to the rally with the dw this am.
She's mulling it over....
I'm the social director in this household and it takes her a lil bit to warm up in situations as this .
I'm a social butterfly and she's a quiet lil princess.

I hope it werks out there's some people a HAVE TO MEET!

Time to put on your big boy pants and say "We are going dear!"

When you get out of the hospital from the whoopin you'll get, she'll prolly take pitty on you and say "YES".

I owe ya a beer or two so you need to work that out man.

On another note...We have started our planning. With 1950 miles each way and only 2 weeks off it's going to be a test of our driving endurance. Looks like our final night on the road out will be in the Davenport IA area visiting with friends the night before arriving in Goshen. That should allow for an easy enough final leg.
