There is a free app as well
Never leave home without it and don't stay anywhere unless I've read the reviews first and it has consistently good scores.

Oops... error posting pic. Will try again later.

EDIT: RV Parks & Campgrounds is free... can't get cheaper than that unless someone pays you to use theirs!
Works like a charm on my Note 4...

The first app we go to is Allstays camp & RV. It has bridge info, camping, fueling, rest stops, propane, Walmart's, and a bunch of shopping.

Ditto on RVParky. Or Google Maps "RV park near Scranton, PA" or even "RV park near me" will do it. But the later search will show all around, not just around your destination for the day.

Finding that campground

Our first choice in apps for finding a campground or RV park is RV parks and campgrounds. We also use apps of organizations we belong, passport america, KOA, Harvest Hosts, etc.

Checking out RV Parks and Campgrounds - thanks. I appreciate the low overhead flags!

It is certainly not free, but not bad. I just hate dropping a dime on something that by still be on the internet but not updated.

Your thoughts appreciated and it may help the OP too.
I haven't used it, but I do know that it's now owned by Social Knowledge- the same folks who own/run this forum. Which means, it is being maintained.

I use a combination of the sites listed above:
  • campgroundreviews.com
  • RVParky
  • Google Maps
  • Allstays Camp & RV
  • RoadTrippers.com

I also keep a calendar and a spreadsheet. It's a pain, but for me- planning is often 1/2 the fun!

Here are some more extended thoughts on my trip planning:
