Banff, AB Canada

We just got back from a week out in the Canadian Rockies, thought I would share a few pics from the trip. Weather was ok...lots of rain this year...but who cares, beats work anytime!

Ahhhh, just as I remembered it. It has been years since I was up there. Thanks for the reminder, the pictures are awesome. Perhaps after we retire we can get up there.

As a kid our family would head out there most summers, most of the time passing through Banff to the west coast in our 1975 Triple E Class C (which my father still has and has managed to keep it going). Last year was the first time in a long time that I had revisited Banff with my family (DW, one girl, and 2 dogs), lots of great scenery and good memories.

It was cold and full of moose in 1973 as well. Curious critters, those moose. Wanted my peanut butter sandwich. Since there was a decided size differential between us, I handed over my lunch.

Was in Banff and Lake Louise July 4th weekend 1986. We had 3 inches of snow.

Fabulously beautiful though!
