Picked up from news sites but tough day to be on the road.

Last pick is a 5th Wheel

Sounds like everyone was OK.

Seen that on last evening's news and was hopeful no one was hurt and glad it wasn't us.

Sorry to see that happen to anyone's vacation or rig.
When weather is questionable, it is always best to park the rig and wait it out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Agree - Hoping to head south to Quartzsite. Mostly packed but waiting for weather to clear.

Wow! Hate to see that. If you can it's always better to pull off and wait till roads improve

Got caught in bad snow storm of all places Birmingham, Al two years ago. Went fron sun is out to driving snow in less than one hour of driving as we headed North towards the foot hills. Found a Days Inn that let us park on back lot for the night for the cost of a room. After hitting breakfast buffet the next morning, roads cleared around ten, got back on the road.

That's so scary. No vacation is worth that. I'd rather wait until the weather clears.

Would there really be a worse way to be stuck in a snow storm? I mean we would have our RVs to wait it out in. Not a bad way in my book.

Always better to be safe than sorry.

In all honesty I would never have thought of parking in their lot.

I LOVE the idea though. I will store it away in the ol grey matter and hope it pops back up when I need it.

THANKS!
