That's a tough one because WI has so many absolutely beautiful campgrounds. The ones I like the best are along Hwy 70; the National Forest Service campgrounds. Many are beautiful and some are lightly used.

This is actually at my brothers place in the Southeast near Honey Lake. He has set up a 30 amp plug for us and it doesn't cost anything. Of course we do give them cash for the electric. We only get there every couple of years as it is 1500 miles from home.

Does he have a website where we can make reservations?

My wife is a cheesehead and although we visit Wisconsin regularly never in our camper. Gosh we would love camp up there some time. Beautiful country! Enjoy!

I don't have pictures and I shouldn't say this because its hard enough to get spots, but three of our of our all time favorite Wisconsin state parks are Peninsula, Devil's Lake, and Harrington Beach.

We like the water and dramatic bluffs. Peninsula is great because for us because we have a boat up there and Devil's Lake is a great Lake for canoeing with the family.

We like Devil's Lake. That was where we took the 5er for the shakedown when we first got it.

There are so many great state parks here - my favorite is high cliff near Appleton, right along the bluffs of lake winnebago. Hartman creek state park near waupaca is also very nice. And you can't bet the scenery of the parks in northwest Wisconsin - pattison, brule river, copper falls, council grounds, etc. We're thinking of venturing out next year for a "tour" of the parks now that we have a tt. Not that I want to make a nice spot more popular, but twin bridge county park near crivitz is also a gem, in my opinion. It's right on high falls flowage.

Wyalusing was my favorite WI state park. Camping on a ridge 200ft above the WI and Mississippi Rivers.
