Camping in Baja California

Hi All,

We are going down to Mulege, Baja California Sur in mid October for two month (with our 5th wheel), give or take. We have friends that camp on Coyote beach (have for the past 7 years) and we will stay there for a month or so.

We have driven down to the bottom of Baja before with our truck (no trailer), two years ago now. We spent 2.5 months down there and rented a condo in San Jose del Cabo and toured a big part of the southern tip. Our blog from that trip.

We had no issues with diesel for the truck carried a spare jerry can, but never used it..

I'm looking for info on:

- Great places to camp, with or without services, on the beach??

- Things to do or must see.

- Places you have been to and should be avoided or not worth the drive.

- Any other suggestions.

We love hiking and exploring places.... especially when I can put the truck in to 4 x 4 mode.

Thanks,
