We're interested in this trip as well..... Having been to Alaska three times , we obviously love this magnificent state.... Beautiful scenery, fantastic fishing and tons of wildlife... What more can you ask for ???

Please keep us in the loop....

This sounds like it would be a great trip and we're also interested.
We're in Oregon so would probably join up with you in Idaho.

Would love to join in this trip of a life time. My problem is the DW isn't adventurous enough.

Pete and I have discussed "Where to start" and it looks like there will be a general Rendezvous in Great Falls, MT before the official start of the caravan. This will give folks time to have any repairs made, oil changed, and any other thing(s) yuou need to do to prepare your RV.

Next stop will be a campground to stage arcoss the border, a stopoff at Calgary, The "Official" caravan starting point will be at Dawson Creek (Alaska Highway Milepost 0) sometime iin late May 2018.

Talking

I thought I had heard we would enter Canada from Idaho.....I spent many hours trying to figure out why! Glad you clarified the entrance point. Or maybe I was wrong about the Idaho thing....I don't know. I have put myself on information overload the last couple of weeks trying to find all the info I could about this adventure! I think you have eased my mind a little, so now I will slow down. After all, I have another two years before I must get serious about this!

Thanks Bob & Pete!!!

I might have confused you by offering several entry point options in the FROG survey. As it turns out, not that I have become more familiar with the route and Great Falls is the "last" large American city before you hit the border at Sweetgrass.

As an aside folks, the FaceBook group has a lot of you as members but not all so please consider joining (and Pete needs to get his own FB account )

Also if you have posted that you are "interested" but have not gotten on the email list or taken the survey, please drop me a email at bob AT williamsnet DOT org

For all you folks planning to take this trip, make sure you take plenty of spare tires for the trailer and tow vehicle. The road is not a paved highway all the way and has some very rough, large gravel stoned roads.
