Don't want a pop up with canvas up there. Rental is probably the best idea except I would probably end up buying it from the damage. Thinking a used TT and then see what kind of shape it's in when we get back.

Wow! I wish I'd've known about this before Goshen. We were there. I hear you about 15. I was thinking about something like 2 or 3 traveling a few days ahead or behind, then meeting up once a week or so to share notes about what people have seen or going to see.

Might be helpful if someone downloaded the Alaska Campgrounds from the POI Factory. ALASKA Campgrounds (164) | POI Factory

Bob is doing this in stages. He is not there yet. I do believe something this big is going to take some time arranging. He'll get there.

We just now found out about this trip and have thought about an Alaska trip since we retired 2 years ago. Is there a limit on the number of rigs. Please keep us included in the planning if we are not too late to join the group.

As far as my research has shown, the Alaskan Highway is, in most cases, better than I-75through MI-OH

Here is a great 'myth vs fact' atricle written by a couple wh RV Alaska and Canada extensively.

Myths Versus Reality – Driving Your RV to Alaska | The Snowmads

We also have several "Been there Done that" Alaska Higyway veterans in the group; so far, the only considerations we should have is frost heaves and chipped windshields.
